Dr. Golpa's G4
WORTH IT$31,000
I had Dr. Golpa's G4 surgery last Thursday & received new teeth within 24 hours. I was SHOCKED when they handed me a mirror, I didn't know these were teeth she was putting in. The surgery isn't remembered, as all surgeries, and yes, I was nervous! But what he found & fixed I'm so grateful. The Cancun dr. didn't do any bone reduction after pulling all my teeth. This means I had sharp boney sockets. My bone was soft & needing grafting. The implants were too large for my mouth. He has photographs of everything. I'm still swollen from the grafting protein, he told me to expect it. I look like a Who from Who-ville. The top bridge is very tight in my mouth. But it's not painful, just irritating. Because of my fibromyalgia, my body is very angry what I've put it through. And during surgery, I had some issues with my o2 & blood pressure. Nothing life threatening but they had a great team who professionally cared for me.
I can eat but it's a odd feeling. I'm careful because I could bite the side of my mouth. The teeth are prosthetics, we don't realize how much we rely on the touch of our own teeth. That hot or especially cold we hated helped us know where our food was. After my swelling goes down more & my body wants to function again, I'm going back for some adjustments. After 65 years of having a off bite I'm having to get use to a correct one. I get a spasm in my lower jaw that causes my mouth to jolt. Teeth feel huge, lol. It's certainly different. I'm so grateful I found Dr. Golpa. He's very professional & is proud of his technique. He gave me my smile back!

I think your teeth look great!! I read about your previous experience in Cancun and I am so glad that I did not decide to go that route. I did not feel comfortable going out of the states just in case there was an emergency. I went to Dr Golpa's new Dallas office and was very pleased with them. I hope you are now happy with your new smile and will no longer have any pain!!

Oh my gosh, thank you so much! I'm finally not feeling the intense pressure from the swelling (grafting). I'm now on the other side of the healing & on my road to recovery-for good! No more worries about where to go, about surgery, about not having a smile. I'm eating real food since losing my smile in Mexico. Actually enjoyed popcorn last night.

That's great!! I hate the feeling of the food getting under the bridges so every time I eat I go do the waterpick and then i'm good to go. Did you check out Dr Golpa from the very beginning or did you think Cancun was just cheaper all around? I give you so much credit for going alone. I am a very independent person and had my husband and Son with me. It's a good thing I did because I don't do well with any type of anesthesia. It takes a while for it to get out of y system.

I had not heard of Dr. Golpa until afterwards. I didn't know a lot about All in 4 & in fact had not ever heard the words prior to this last summer. When my dentist told me my remaining teeth couldn't be saved & said the words All in 4. I went into panic mode. I NEVER thought I'd have to lose all my teeth. When getting an estimate in LV for $30,000 for upper bridge only-I became a robot going through the motions of finding some survival after losing teeth for a price I could live with. No teeth I could live with. I'm hypersensitive & know having dentures would drive me absolutely insane. And in fact what I received from Mexico was healing dentures that I could take out which I did every night. I'm not a very disciplined person and know my shortfalls and shortcomings and what I canning can't live with. Once I had started researching the Cancun Doctor and thought that I found a well-qualified well licensed all-knowing in this procedure Doctor I just became focused on a task and no one could lead me in any other direction unfortunately. I thought I was being brave LOL after day three when I saw my face my bravery kind of went out the door and I did all a lot of hysterical crying must been unusual for people in resource to hear somebody in the next room crying their eyes out. Then once again I just went into what was like a dream state and just went through all the requests of the clinic to come and go as they requested and get the treatments and eventually my teeth and get back home after being delayed for 13 days I felt like a trapped animal. It truly was a mental nightmare. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad for other people but with my chronic illness, a mental breakdown that I had about 16-17 years ago, my mental capacity, anxiety isn't very healthy.
I'm starting to get food under now, but not much because of swelling. It does feel awful. Worse, my tongue won't fit down that far now?? What's that about? My teeth are a little to big. I need them to be smaller overall in appearance, just a little & a little bit of over bite. I like that look, it's been mine for 65 years. I hope they can work this out for me. Also, the top has to much bulk for me. So I'm going to sleep them if they please can take it down some. My body went into a electrical nightmare after this last surgery. My O2 sats dropping & Blood pressure being crazy sent my body into a full blown fibromyalgia flare with continuous anxiety attacks. It took me a week to figure out what was going on. I'm taking my precious xanax to regulate & keep the panic attacks at bay. I say precious because no one prescribes this for me anymore, so the few I have are or my sanity/wait for my poor husbands sanity. LOL
I'd love to start a forum for all Dr. Golpa's patients to share their experiences, their challenges, even things like using the water pik or the floss for the first time.
I'm thinking about something maybe through YouTube or FB live? I'll have to give it more thought & talk to Dr. G about it. Some good needs to come out of my experiences, I'd love it to be helping others. I love doing that.
Yours was in August? No pictures though?
That anesthesia is rough! That's another reason we need to stay in the states.
You've seen my video from Dr. G's & my YouTube videos? I made a few from this surgery as well. Even with no teeth! Ugh
Let's keep in touch!

What is your youtube name? Id love to see your videos I have not posted any pictures or reviews because until I go back at the end of October and get the few fixes I want I am still very self conscious. I think my top teeth need to be a tiny bit shorter as well and my lip is totally not the lip I had before. My mouth looks drawn and I didn't have that previously. I'msure they can fix that. The bottoms are crooked and Dr Anderson at the Dallas office is already planning on remaking them. I have total confidence in them. I had my surgery 8/15 and flew home 8/18. I had no bruising or pain (thankfully) and never even needed the pain pills. I just used Tylenol. I found out about Dr Golpa when I knew that I could never wear dentures due to a horrible gag reflex. I knew I would be miserable and depressed. When I started researching alternatives that's when I read about Dr Golpa. Im a research person and everything I do I spend hours and hours researching. Hopefully you'll get everything sorted out and before you know it you will have a gorgeous smile and everything else will be a distant memory. I have read that some people have had great results in Cancun with their teeth but for me, I would not go there.

I just looked and saw your video on Dr Golpas site and you look beautiful!!! I found your youtube videos and I wish I could reach in and hug you. So sorry you had to go through that. How scary. Im glad you found Dr Golpa! Blessings and prayers for you <3

Oh the doctor in Dallas office is not dr golpa? How many years experiences of all on 4 or G4 does dr Anderson have ? Thanks so much
October 1, 2017
I'm not familiar with his Dallas office. I know it's his name, his technique. I am corresponding with someone who has been treated by the Dallas office. Loves the doctor & is happy with her progress.

Dr Anderson trained with Dr Golpa for 5 years in the Dallas office. When I called the LV Location originally I spoke to Carlos and he assured me that I would be in great hands with Dr Anderson. Dr Golpa had been traveling back and forth between both offices. Most of the time in the LV office it is not Dr Golpa doing the surgery. I think he had 2 dentists there . He oversees everything. I read on his website that if you specifically want him to do it all then it is $5000 more. I can't say either way if it is true. I picked Dallas because I trusted that Dr Golpa would not send a dentist to run his Dallas office that he did not have total faith in. It was also 2 hours closer for the flight.

Dr Golpa does the complex cases in LV only and his price starts at $42,500 now and may incur additional charges for sinus lifts, bone grafts and removal of existing implants. Info is in the FAQ.
October 2, 2017
He just did mine. It didn't cost anywhere near this amount. Not sure where you got this information from???

Did Gr. Golpa do your surgery or was it one of the drs in training?
The $42,500 is on Dr.Golpa's website under the FAQs, 2nd question under the section General G4 Implant Solution. When the drs in training do the surgery it's cheaper than when Dr. Golpa does the surgery. I paid $44,000 for Dr. Golpa to do my surgery himself in Mar, 17 and I know someone commented on my review that they were told it would cost $52,000.

I was quoted a few different numbers as well.
Thank goodness we were able to settle on one which I was happy with!
I was told Dr.Golpa would cost more than the rest.
He did do my procedure.

We didn't negotiate, I got in in his prices just before they went up to 33,000. He didn't charge me to remove my implants because they hadn't integrated yet or the grafting protein. I'm sure it's because of my situation & because my mouth was such a mess.
October 3, 2017
Yes, Dr. Golpa did my surgery. Heck, after going through a "surgeon " in mexico, I only wanted the best. His confidence alone won me on what he does all the time. Never did I consider the idea of how many "All in 4's" were done by the Mexico doctor? Sure he does implants but many more of the single not a whole mouth. Reasons leaving a tooth & not shaving my bone after pulling my teeth-he didn't know what he was doing! Imo
Generic doctors doing surgery they shouldn't!
Did you have implant removal & other reconstruction? I know those alone can add to the costs.
I was given a fee for a upper only of a All in 4 by another doctor in Vegas which was going to be $33,000. Then the bottom was to be done a year later. Totaling $60,000. That wasn't the best tooth product either. Just as in Cancun, their prices weren't the top of the line & even then they didn't have what was promised. So for me, Dr. Golpa giving permanent teeth rRIGHT AWAY without all the follow ups before the permanent bridges is not only cost effective but mentally healing after going through the mess I did & others do daily.

Thanks for the explanation and I agree with what you said. I know you've been through a lot, but your story is great advertising for them. One of my friends who knows I had the surgery still doesn't understand why I didn't go to Costa Rica.
I know it's your review, but I was actually asking shazsmiles, since she said she was quoted different numbers and was able to settle for one she was happy with.
Yes, I did have implant removal and extra reconstruction. I also asked for Dr. Golpa to do the surgery when I initially called them, because I knew I had a complicated case and the office staff told me it would be $5000 extra for him to do the surgery. The total ended up to be $44,000 with the breakdown as follows: $3,000 for removing three implants, $36,500 for Dr. Golpa to do the surgery himself, $4000 for the sinus lift, and $500 for the bone graft material. Plus $3500 for the extended warranty.

@ Skdivr - I had been quoted several different numbers as this was something I had contemplated for quite some time.
My case was also quite complex so it called for Doc Golpa.
I had initially called in when they had a 'deal', and I was given that quote.
Unfortunately for me I wasn't quite ready to commit.
Then another time I was told there would be an additional fee for him.
The next time I was told I would need bone graft material so that would be an additional fee etc etc.
So I explained to them the first couple of quotes and they were good enough to give me a # I was happy with. Somewhere in between the second two.
You've clearly had yours done, are you happy?
I didn't get the extended warranty. Kinda kicking myself for that one!

@shazsmiles - Do I have a perfect smile? No, but it's a huge improvement over the 1st set. I think the teeth are too big for my child size mouth.
As far as to what I paid, I'm fine with it, because I asked for him to do the surgery. I'm just trying to gather info to help other people I know and also others like the person who posted on my review who was told it would cost $52,000.
I don't think it's too late for you to get the warranty. I actually got it early. Most people get it during their 1st follow-up.

Im going to get the extended warranty as well on my follow up visit. Its well worth it to be covered an additional 10 years and just to be sure, that does cover all exams and cleanings? And I saw something about being able to change the bridges down the road if a newer better material becomes available which I am sure will within the next few years.
October 12, 2017
How much was your lol on 4? I need my top done. I just got a quote for 25,000. That’s just for the temporary hybrid and permanent. That’s not including the oral surgeon pulling my teeth and putting in the implants
October 12, 2017
Whoa! Yes it can be VERY expensive. I was quoted $30,000 for my top. It scared me so much I put my health & life in jeopardy in Mexico.
Dr. Golpa is $33,500 for top & bottom & teeth-everything. But usually Dr. Golpa doesn't do a top or bottoms, he does both. It's something to do with the bite I think or maybe I don't know for certain. His office can explain it.
Keep me posted on what you do. Please call Dr. Golpa's office for more information. Maybe he can help you.

Hi! Wrote u once before after Cancun and u were beating yourself up for having gone there. I'm considering Golpa and Vegas but financially can't manage now. I've heard a lot of people say (much like yourself) they feel like their mouth is too 'full' and feel strange when eating because they can't really 'feel' the teeth. Do u know if everyone experiences that? The main reason I'm trying to get implants is because dentures seem so grotesque to me and unnatural besides coming in and out-I felt (when I had a flipper on the roof of my mouth for a month that I had a huge lump of plastic sitting on my tongue. I found that feeling so terrible I went and had teeth pulled and shaved down and temps put in. (cheaply). Now I have decay under the temps and have been told they will all fall out 'any minute" Besides other orthopedic problems after a terrible fall from a ladder onto cement-(nothing healed correctly-some metal broke) leaving me in constant pain I can't deal with dentures or no teeth. So, somehow I need to get some money but as I said at beginning when I read a lot of people feeling the teeth are too large;crowded;or they can't quite eat correctly I get scared. Can u let us know if feelings such as those get better? Also-if I'll need to go back and forth to Vegas a lot;that too will not be an option due to finances. Your teeth look wonderful! I'm glad-u sound like a different woman after the Cancun nightmare! Best wishes.
October 1, 2017
I know you were not asking me and I hope its ok that I am commenting on your post but I had my teeth put in on 8/16 and at first they felt so big and clunky and foreign. Now I can honestly say at the 6 weeks point that I am having no issues with them feeling too big in my mouth and I am eating with no issues at all.
October 1, 2017
Hi Dee-of course it's okay-I really appreciate it. If I can get hold of that am't. of money I'm going to have them done. I am so fearful that I'm going to go to sleep one of these nights and they'll all be on my pillowcase and I'll have no plan!
October 1, 2017
Oh Sweetie, these new teeth are a huge but wonderful difference for most people that haven't had teeth for decades. We don't realize how much we use even the one good tooth in our mouth. After Mexico, the surgeon left that one molar in the back of my mouth. I was actually using this one tooth this last month too eat crackers...lol
It's nothing to be scared of it's just a learning process. Until you've experienced it you can't understand but those who are trying to share about this experience try to give as much helpful information. That being said, these teeth will be the closest you can have to real teeth. They don't have the feelings (nerves attached) that we take for granted our real teeth have. I'm only a week into this so my experience is still very new. At first they did feel like to many teeth, or maybe more just a fullness I haven't known for 40 years. It's not uncomfortable in fact hardly any of this whole process this week so far has been more pleasant than I'd have expected. We have to allow ourselves time to heal & learn our new mouth. Patience patience patience!
Unfortunately if you suffer chronic pain, other things do need to be considered (along with my age). My body has gone into a full blown electrical type flare.. it took me days before I figured out what was going on due to my foggy brain. But we all learn to adjust to our own crosses we bear.
Getting acquainted with my new teeth is definitely a learning process but one I welcome! My tongue is a muscle and it will develop a memory where all its new companions are as it did when I had new baby teeth & like all muscles do to where everything is in my mouth. We just take it one day at a time. Some people adjust faster than others, some are just a messy human like myself. Ugh
One thing I can guarantee you is, these teeth that Dr. Golpa gave me are better than any teeth I would've gotten anywhere else. His G4 is better than the All in 4 I could have gotten because he has designed and eliminated some of the flaws that make it easier for us to care for our mouth hygienically & has a better appearance.
The first trip to have your surgery is around 3 day total. Return visits are necessary for adjustments or cleanings but I'm sure if you can't make a visit any of your local dentist can help you. This would need to be discussed with his office. I really don't know the correct answers to it. I do know the cost to fly to Vegas can be coordinated with specials airlines have or booked so far in advance that it's a cost of a weekend adventurist people have. A good cheap trip is Las Vegas. I'd even be happy to help you find a reasonable hotel rate. The strip isn't expensive unless you want all the perks & food in the buffets are crazy cheap. Or a nice holiday Inn with your breakfast included. I'd guess a 3 day trip would be less than $500 with flights & room. What LV is banking on is you gambling & drinking. That's where the high costs are.
There's places like Credit Care to borrow from or other ways to borrow towards new teeth. I'd say it's a investment in your future health. Body & mind!
Have you called the office? They are the experts, they can direct you towards this new way to approach life with a healthy smile. Jarrett is who I spoke to. He really was involved in helping me make the decision & believe me if anyone didn't want surgery or ANYTHING to go wrong it was me. I took a huge leap of faith allowing someone to not only do surgery again but to remove all the other implants knowing they may encounter a HUGE MESS.
Dr. Golpa talking to me for such a long time knowing I'd been through not only a traumatic event but trusting another persons word that they did really know what they were doing & trusting. He made it so much easier!
Dr. Golpa makes beautiful, smooth , strong teeth & if you're not happy with the look they'll make them until you are happy!
October 2, 2017
I too had Dr. Golpa see to me. I also feel the teeth are too big. For me it's not a 'too full' feeling, it's a 'too tall' feeling. They teeth meet each other too soon and I can hear them connect every time I speak.. which drives me crazy!
My jaw also spasms and it actually began locking.
I have returned once and they adjusted the bite a little but I'm still struggling.
I'll give it a little more time with hopes it will all work itself out.
I'm just over 7 weeks in and can't afford to keep hopping a plane each time I need an adjustment. Although, he did state he didn't want to shave them down anymore and over close my bite.. so I'm unsure what the next step is?
Praying everything will correct itself!
I can say that I'm very happy with the security of the fixed bridges! That bit is very much like having my own teeth! One forgets and takes for granted the ability to sneeze without holding on for dear life! lol ... to have your dentures fly across the room is a tad embarrassing!
I'm still super happy I made the choice I did. I just look forward to the corrections that need to be made so I can speak without feeling I have a mouthful of marbles and a jaw that doesn't hurt.
I have all faith I'll be all fixed up next time I go.
Oh.. and a Who from Whoville was me too!!
Holy swelling. Haha.. if nothing else it made for hilarious photos!
I'd do it all over again as it's SO much better than what I was living with.
October 3, 2017
I'm going to ask for smaller teeth. These are just too big.
Been a Bad day for us in Vegas...
October 3, 2017
Thank you! Our niece & her friends came home with memories they couldn't imagine they'd leave this concert with. One minute she was posting beautiful pictures of them celebrating & the next having to run from sprays of bullets, feeling so guilty going over those who died.
October 3, 2017
I'm so sorry.
I honestly can't begin to imagine how she's feeling.
My thoughts have not strayed far from those that have gone through this horrific event.
Sending your niece an abundance of strength.

I'm curious if anyone reading your post still struggles, or how long they struggled with swelling after eating or drinking certain foods/beverages?
It's 8 weeks for me now and today while out I munched on a chicken strip, soon after I could hardly speak due to the swelling. My husband says I sounded all garbled..
I'm feeling very frustrated today as speech is pretty difficult as it is.
I am SO ready to feel 'normal'. I truly envy of those that sounded great in their videos right after placement of the bridges!
October 8, 2017
That much swelling is not normal. That along with the pain you said you were having, you definitely need to go back to LV.
You might get more responses if you start your own review, rather than your post being buried in someone else's review.

If I were you, I'd call the office in Monday. You need some direct answers for your situation not what any one person has experienced especially if your concerned something isn't right. I know everyone's experiences are different because everyone's surgery is different. For myself, having so much grafting really makes my healing original for me.
As for speech. You need that fixed also. I know making another trip is hard & costly but now that your in a different phase of your healing, you may also need adjustments due to the changes. Call the office & get some answers directly for your case.
I'd love for you to start feeling whole again. I'm still having a lot of numbness on my left side of my chin. I had just gotten over this from my Cancun experience & now it's on the other side along with my Who look still here. I'm praying I'll return to my self again soon or a better version. My nostrils are still so large I can almost see my small brain! LOL
October 9, 2017
I have called the office. I was told Cat would call me back. That was Wednesday. I'm still waiting! I messaged Friday asking when I would hear from them.. I got nothing in return. That's why I was asking here. Sometimes hearing other peoples experiences is helpful..
Dr. Golpa said 'he didn't know what to do' as far as my bite. How discouraging is that?
I, like you, feel like I've been through so much with wrong doings in my mouth... long story and much more involved than just Dr. Golpas office but I was so very hopeful this was the answers to my problems. I don't seem to be much farther ahead.
Let's hope there's a light at the end of the tunnel... and soon!

When I have more than a minute to put something together, I may do just that.

This website forum def makes it difficult to answer someone and have it get lost in others posts but im 7weeks in and have not had any swelling at all after my initial swelling went down. Seems like you are def having an issue with something. My speech is fine as well. Just a couple of "S" words sound lispy. Im going back to the Dallas office on the 31st of this month to have the bottoms remade. They look crooked and my top lip sort of disappeared. Dr Anderson said he can readjust the top bridge. Hopefully after that I will be good to go. I hope you can make it back to take care of your issues!!
UPDATED FROM Pjss
2 months post
A month since my G4 by Golpa
As most know I have a story from Mexico to Vegas with implant surgery’s. I’m a month in since my second surgery with Dr. Golpa, I’m healing nicely and have a ways to go still. Every day now I feel different in my eating & my implant swelling which is minimal now.
The first week out of surgery my teeth were so tight on the top from my swelling, I thought I was going to lose it. But we had a family emergency & then the 1Oct shooting in LV where my niece was at the concert, suddenly my mouth wasn’t so important. I was completely distracted.
My main issues after surgery were the swelling, no pain though.
My chewing felt mushy, but because of the bone grafting I couldn’t eat & still can’t hard foods. Even chewy foods I still have some chewing issues with.
My chin was numb on one side for almost a month also but it’s better now.
Now, after a month, since the swelling is down, I’m having a lisp because of the top thickness is so different than where my original overbite teeth were.
I? also want smaller, shorter & more white teeth when my mouth heals. .
I went in the office almost two weeks ago to have them check my top implants, they felt loose. Because I clench my teeth pretty much 24/7 to the point I have bone discomfort, I was afraid I loosened my implants feeling the mushy feeling. But they are good & talked briefly with another doctor about my changes I’m asking for. After my mouth is healed they’ll address those problems.
Overall I couldn’t be happier for where I am right now. See Nov 4 picture. I’ve healed really well!
If anyone has any health issues & is getting ready for surgery, I recommend taking high doses of acidophilus, which is good bacteria to counteract the die off from the antibiotics, before & after surgery. I have Fibromyalgia & now my body is in a full candida flare. It affects my mouth & throat, by burning all the time as if I’d eaten hot sauce, it coats my inside mouth & throat white and also gives me incredible fatigue. It affects my concentration & even thought process, finding words & spelling them correctly. Because of the two implant surgeries so close & the stress between not knowing what’s going to happen, it completely wore my body down. This plus my vitamins, Cal/Mag with D, fish oil, liquid B12 to try & build me back up again & fight this candida. Illuminating sugar from my diet is crucial which I’m trying to do a little more each day. Candida feeds ravishingly off of any sugar input.
What a job!
But overall, if you’re considering a All in 4, Dr. Golpa’s office in Las Vegas, Nv or Dallas is the easiest & most importantly the best way to go. Easy surgery, permanent teeth in a day & a experience reputable experienced in implants surgeon & staff!
G4-Dr. Golpa!!!
Pictures are from day after receiving my teeth until the day I celebrated turning 66 - ugh I included my humorous Who picture because my family agreed I looked like a Who right after the surgery.

You look AMAZING!!! Your teeth are absolutely natural and gorgeous! I hope you continue to progress in your healing smoothly!

Going through same procedure in Ocala Florida. $39,000 with local anesthesia. Did you have to wear temporary teeth?
I picked the wrong dentist because he was in town. Nothing has gone correct. Will not go into detail now. Initial appointment was in early June 2017, teeth pulled and implants placed along with cheap looking resin teeth. Today is November 10, 2017, have been without upper teeth for one month. Told they will be put in on November 20th. This has been horrible. Hope to post complete review in a few months.
I hope no one ever goes to this Dentist. All money up front, nothing I can do now. But will spell it all out on this site.
Thanks

Sorry your teeth aren’t in yet, it sounds like it’s still to early but I️ understand how traumatic this is!

I am confused. Weren’t you unhappy with original teeth? Are these another set?
March 6, 2019
I was very unhappy with them. I have lots of comments/reviews that continue throughout this continued journey with new pictures. This was my first set from Golpa, they were HUGE! I've had 3 sets or 4? I've honestly lost count.

Merry Christmas
It’s been another month, i want to be as open about my experience so far because not everyone has a smooth transition. To those I’ve connected with & have had a flawless experience, I’m so pleased that I could be a positive influence. Good job y’all!
My implants are trying to heal. My food that’s any kind of chewy still feels mushy. ( I have to stay away from real chewy food that takes pressure or pulling like a subway sandwich) At night my top front area aches. My mouth is just having a difficult time healing.
I finally have room between my top bridge & gums to floss without it hurting. The tightness really was hard to bear. But now with the open space, & swelling has gone down, the top makes bubbles all the time! So I’m always pushing bubbles back & forth which also makes the roof of my mouth sore.
The top also has more bulk in the front than I’m comfortable with. It’s hard to talk. I described it like having a tiny shelf for my tongue to sit on. My teeth are much too long & my left cheek gets caught inside my teeth all the time. My bite is just a little askew & the bite of the teeth is perfect which doesn’t gl when eating. I find I eat on the left side because those teeth touch first with the way I chew. They tried to fix my bite but they measured it for perfection & I’m far from that.
My bottom teeth have been easy to get use to. I hardly notice them except hen eating. Food gets caught EVERYWHERE! My tops sometimes I want to rip out because of the trouble my tongue gets into it it.
All my complaints are just healing complaints. Once my implants are secure they’ll address all this. They’ll fix the length, we’ll work on the bite, which I feel will be better when the length is addressed. They’ll tighten the bridges. Less bubbles I hope. •.• tiny bubbles...
I just pray my implants heal. I can still feel them slightly pressing out on each side of my nostrils on the outside.
I still wouldn’t go any other way. The service is top, they do try & get it right for us patients, even the difficult ones. ;)
I can eat most things, but I couldn’t bite an apple or chew a almond. I did use my teeth one night for the unthinkable-I broke a pill!!! Ugh, I’m bad! But I was careful to place it in a spot for a fast break & felt so wrong afterwards knowing I won’t jeopardize my healing like that again.
Thank you everyone who’s following & sending prayers & thoughts for a good healing. I hope you have a sweet Christmas with those you love. Or the same to those who celebrate differently this month. :)

Found your videos..., happy for you. I'm a year in September for Golpa & going in again for another adjustment for talking. My upper top front gum/bone area hurts all the time. I still don't go a minute without these bothering me. I had horrible pain the night after surgery, they didn't want me to take the opioids because it lowers the heart rate & I scared them during surgery...BUT I take opioids for pain management. So after suffering for awhile, I took one. ;)

I'm not sure if this is someone's thead, or just people chatting about their experiences.
I'm not sure if anyone has read any of my posts or threads, so I'll share a little. I had my procedure in early 2013! First, I just want to check if there's anyone who has had their all on 4's as long, or longer? If so, please message me.
I was reading many of you had extreme swelling, pain, bruising, and whatever else you would think goes with a dental surgery like this. Idk if I was lucky, or Dr Golpa's expertise had something to do with it, but I went out the same night I had the bridges put in. I wouldn't have been able to bite an apple right after, but i did have a sandwich that night. I had very little swelling, or bruising. The only issue I had was my speech was a bit messed up. As soon as I got back to my room, I just practiced saying words, or letters that were "off" I guess every surgery is different.
The people who had them done a few months after me ended up getting a different brand of implant. I had Bio Noble implants put in. A few months later I believe they were sued, as there where issues with the implants. Bio gave a lifetime warranty with their implants, but since I may be one of the very few with them, Dr Golpa has honored the warranty, so everything is good. I had a problem with one of my embutments, as I'll discuss in a min, but Dr Golpa, and some of the long time staff assured me I'd be taken care of.
Back in 2013 Dr Golpa only had one office, and he was the only DDS doing all the surgeries.
I guess the biggest difference I've noticed since the expansion started is the little things. When I called in say 2014 with an issue, I knew who I was going to speak to, and I knew whatever issues I may have had would be taken care of (still is, but the communicationis isn't quite as smooth as it was) I'd imagine it would be considering how much larger the practice is now. I guess they changed their computer system as well. At 1st I would get reminders for my next cleaning/bite alignment, along with a newsletter, or something they would send Dr Golpa's patients. It was nice, but not a big deal. When it's time for my cleaning, alignment, and my embutment fixed, for lack of a better term, i just call. The last time Ashley took great care of me. That being said, does anyone know if Ashley is still there? She always would email me back right away, however I emailed her a couple weekd ago, but got no response.
Anyway, I upgraded to titanium bridges, and than a Zarconia top arch. Both are strong as hell. I can eat anything, and I'm never concerned about anything breaking.
The only major concern I had was my upper right implant embutment began showin a few months after the procedure, and scared the crap out of me. I flew to Vegas maybe a week, or two after thinking I was going to need another surgery, but Dr Golpa knew how to take care of it. As far as the embutment goes, I just have to be sure to see Dr Golpa about once a year, and he works his magic, as I guess he knows the Bio Noble implants about as well as anyone. I was going to Vegas every year, which was always fun, but last year I drove down to the Virginia office to meet him. Everyone there was real cool, and professional.
Anyway, I like to show myself here every now and again. I'm also happy to answer any questions.
I'll give it to ya straight. The great, the not so great, and everything in-between.
