I have used Juvaderm in the past and have found it to have natural results, lasting about 8-12 months. The product is perfect for smile lines. In my case, Juvaderm was injected more on one side of my mouth, as there was a difference of deepness between the two sides. The results are natural and the product has been on the market for a long time, with great reviews. I find it a safe product with expected results.

Dr Brian Derby's main attribute, other than being a gifted plastic surgeon, is that he listens and does not suggest procedures that he knows will not have a great end result or are unnecessary. In my case, I wanted to reduce smile lines. After injecting the numbing agent, Dr. Derby used a port (cannula) to inject the Juvederm into the same injection site. This reduced the chance of bruising from multiple injections sites, which is the typical application. After the Juvederm injection, Dr. Derby "rolled" the product with a Q-Tip type applicator, to smooth the lines. This resulted in a natural look, with no lumpiness and in my case, no bruising at all. The slight swelling I experienced disappeared within two days. I was able to go about my day with no signs of a procure being done. In short, Dr. Derby will always be my go-to guy! It pays to go to a professional who is on the cutting edge of his profession.
