One Week

It's been a week since surgery and I'm still experiencing the burning and swelling feeling. It hasn't subsided yet. I'm really hoping by next week to start seeing or feeling a small change!!? Praying for some progress here. At this rate I feel like it's going to take longer than 6 weeks.

Hi there! How are you feeling? I also had a labiaplasty a few weeks ago and I actually wrote a review about that. What method did your PS use? I hope you'll recover soon. I remember how tough it was.. Hang in there!

I'm pretty sure he used the trim method. I am actually looking and feeling alittle better today. I'll post a picture later for comparison. He also did a prepuce reduction which was other extra skin I had around the clitoris and labia. You can see in the picture I have a ton of stitches. lol. Did you ever find that when you weren't icing or when you first woke up you had the worst burning? I think it's just healing because I don't have a fever and nothing weird is coming out. Thank you for asking!! :)

I actually read your review and was amazed at how quickly you healed. My worst concern at the moment is my clit being exposed due to swelling I hope? I just hope that goes back in. My PS said he wasn't going to mess with it at all just removed some skin around it. I'm just worried it won't go back to normal. I see my PS on Friday so I'll update what he says.

I also had a trim method. So you had a labiaplasty and the clitoris hood revision, I guess! The nurse I met during the intake session asked if I would want both procedure, as you can see my upper part is not necessarily small either. But I did not find it necessary (plus the price is twice as much) so I decided to just go for the labia minora.
Well at least you'll look amazing and the stitches are very neat, I must say :)
To be really honest, the pain I had was from the dried blood that was stuck to my underwear/pantyliner and when the swelling started to go down, the sutures were loose and got trapped somewhere as I moved, so it was pulled unexpectedly, but nothing too painful or burning. Uncomfortable is the better word.
Maybe I'm just a monster that can handle pain way too well. I've always healed so fast with any kind of stuff.
I know this might not be comforting but I am sure you will do fine.
As to your concern regarding the clit, pantyliners are always handy. The soft, absorbent ones.
Yes pls keep us updated and make a list of all the concerns and questions you have. I sometimes feel stupid for asking something but hey, who cares. I just need to know what's going on with my body.
Recover soon!! :)

Thank you! I can also feel my sutures stick to things such as the ice pack. I know it has only been a week but I just cannot see past the swelling. I keep thinking my labia are going to be super thick like in my pictures. lol I hope they get smaller. You're results were amazing. I bet you're so happy. Thanks for your response!

Today I wokeup with the burning hot/swollen feeling down there and immediately iced. My doctor recommends his patients to soak cotton balls in dark tea made from chamomile heads. I find that this helps the most when I'm feeling stingy there. I'm supposed to do this four times a day for 15 mins. I place the soaking wet cotton balls on and around the stitches and try to keep them there for 15 min. He also gave me a cream that I'll post a picture of that I should use sparingly twice a day minimum. I noticed my clit really seems to stick out and its worrying me. I hope its due to the temporary swelling of the procedure and its not something permanent that would call for a revision. Let me know if any of you guys experienced that and if it went away please. Thanks!!
