Still the best!

WORTH IT$32,000
I don't know whether to call Dr Golpa the hardest working dentist in the business, or the Houdini of dentistry? I'll continue to call him the best!
I thought Dr Golpa may have bit off more than he can chew? He added dentists at his Vegas flagship office, opened up locations in Dallas, and now the DC area. I became concerned, I even had some communication problems, following a visit in Feburary. To be honest, I thought he may have sold out, and was on his way to becoming a money hungry, greedy, "Clearchoice" type facility.
I couldn't have been more wrong!
He more than fixed any communication issues, by adding a superstar customer service rep named Ashley, in charge of customer relations. I'm not proud of the fact, I am the squeaky wheel, but I guess it's just my nature to be a "worry wart". Ashley not only didn't get frustrated with me, but returned every single email I sent. I wasn't sure if she was giving me lip service, or actually was sympathetic to my often unfounded concerns. In hindsight, she was genuinely sympathetic. What a rare trait to find these days.
Anyway, I drove from Bucks County Pa, to Dr Golpa's new G4 location in Tysons Corner, Virginia last night. My appointment was for 9 AM with Dr Golpa, but arrived a couple hours early. I pulled up, and saw a beautiful, brand new building, with Dr Golpa's G4 logo tastefully plastered to the top of this brand new building. I instantly thought "yup, he sold out", and nearly got nauseous, and angry at the same time.
Oh well, I was there, and prepared to go up to the reception area, only to be treated like some average shmo. When I walked in I was greeted by smiles, in probably the most state of the art reception area I've ever been in. They asked for my first name, and gave me some paperwork to fill out (which I reluctantly did)
I halfass filled it out, and turned it in. I asked if they knew who I was, and surprisingly they really did.
By the time I has made my first cup of coffee, a blonde girl called me back. She couldn't have been nicer, and I couldn't help but immediately like her. We spoke for a few, exchanged pictures of our cats. She told me Dr Golpa would be right in. It was a bit strange seeing Dr Golpa outside of Vegas, but I have to admit it was nice to see him. If you've never met Dr Dr Golpa, he has a friendly calm to him, I can't help but like.
He asked me what I've been up to, and being the wize guy I am, I replied "trying to get a hold of you!"
He smiled, listened to me whine for a bit, addressed all of my concerns, and got to work.
If I got into every other detail, I'd be writing till 2020.
I'll just say, I chilled out, and even fell asleep while Dr Golpa, and the blonde assistant did their thing.(sorry your name slipped my mind, but I was REALLY tired)
I woke up, my bite felt great, and they informed me they even took x-rays, all while I was asleep.
As I were leaving, the front desk staff were offering to make arrangements at a local hotel, so I could get some rest before I headed back. I didn't want to like them, but the guy was very friendly, helpful, and put up with my crap, while the girl was a Cowboys fan, in the DC area, equally helpful.
So right when I was ready to call Dr Golpa a "sellout", he once again made it clear, I got real lucky choosing him to do my All on 4 procedure way back in 2013.
I'm not sure I've written this much since I graduated college?
Dr Golpa, Ashley, and co, are the best in the business! It also shows me Dr Golpa has an uncanny knack for finding talented/capable help.
If anyone has any questions, concerns, or just wants to hear about my experiences, feel free.

I have a question does he offer care credit? I'm wondering about colors, material, and I am concerned about the shape a young look would be nice not a Chiclets shape [ ] if you know what I mean? Any advice wold be appreciated thank you!
Kurst. Yes, he definitely offers credit, although I'm not sure how it works? As for the materials, shape, color......that's all up to you. Back when I got my implants, they told me to bring in pictures of how I wanted my smile to look. I believe their technology is far better now. They can do some kind of computer animation, to show ya how they will look on ya. They definitely don't have that look you're talking about. I know a few people who had gotten cosmetic dental work, and it looks pretty awful (plus, they paid quite a bit more. Dr Golpa knows what he's doing, I'm glad I went to him!
Call the office, they'll answer any questions you might have on payments. If you have any other concerns, or question, feel free to PM me.
Thank you appreciate it I will.
I was wondering I seen all on 6 it’s three brides in your mouth,Mia this something that dentists are offering?? I don’t like the arch I my mouth that’s what is turning me away from these?
Nah Justin. Do a little more research.
Thank you so much for your comment! I have my surgery with Dr. Golpa in the morning and I’m quite nervous! Your experience being a true patient all these years has made me more confident that I’m indeed in good hands!
I'm glad I could be of help. Good luck.

Dr. Golpa All-on-4: more than 6 years now.

I actually had my original process done in 2013. As I see, Dr Golpa is still the man.

I've always been happy to talk to people considering having this procedure, what to expect, little tips ,and tricks that help, and still help me etc.. I was out there Feb 26th, and 27th for a cleaning, check up, and bite align. I always recommend patients stay a full week, if possible after the initial procedure. Most likely everything will be fine, but if possible stay, as you want to go home comfortable, and happy Dr Golpa is the kind of guy who will check his reviews, and make sure his patients are happy.. Much like the newer reviews I've read, you can find my initial review (although the date is off) I'm going to be upgrading to the newest uppers in the next few weeks, hopefully.  I upgraded from titanium to Zarconia a few years ago. The Zarconia are very strong, but also a bit uncomfortably heavy. Now that a newer bridge is available, I'm going to upgrade.  If I'm going to represent Dr Golpa as I have been for years, I want to have the best he has to offer. As for the bite align...

Hi, what is the ‘Newer Bridge’ that you are referring to for the upgrade? Thank you!
I think it's Dr Golpa's own blend, but don't hold me to that. The new ones are more like porcelain veneers. The ones I have look good/natural, but as I mentioned a bit heavy. I'm looking foward to getting the new ones. I'm kind of mad at myself, as I knew better last month. Things were hectic, as Dr Golpa had an emergency the day before. I also had a long overdue spinal fusion a couple months ago, and that trip was rough on me. That will be a different review for a different MD though
Seriously, if anyone has any questions about the G4 all on 4, don't be afraid to send me a message.
A real quick review. You'll be very happy you had it done. You can design your own smile, lose any insecurities you may have had, and like I also said, Dr Golpa hasn't let me down in the past
Hi. I have a few questions regarding the all on 4 procedure. I'm a 60yr old male who recently had the initial 250$ consult at Dr G's ofc here in Las Vegas. They did a great presentation and the Dr who performed it seemed competent and was a likeable guy. He was thorough and asked all the questions that I had at the time. However after reading some online reviews I have more questions that might be better answered by an established patient such as yourself. I have a small mouth and smaller teeth that are proportionate to the size of my mouth. I have read several patients that feel all of Golpas teeth look alike. I don't have an issue with that but do have an issue with teeth that are to large for my mouth. I still have a good amount of my own left and I was hoping that they would use them as a template for the new ones. Is that a false assumption? Having Jim Carrey size teeth will not work for me. Okay, that's one question. I'm also curious about the mat'l they use for the actual teeth. I asked about Zirconia and both the dentist and the lab guy weren't very keen on them for several reasons. Also the price diff is substantial. So, do you know anything about the mat'l they use. Such as, do they look and feel real. I'm realize there is an adj period, but after that do they feel like normal teeth. Also the color is an issue as they only have 3 shades. The dentist was steering me towards the darkest ones, I guess based on the color of the teeth I have left. But afterwards it occured to me that acrylic is porous and will darken over time. I don't clench or brux my teeth so there wouldn't be any wear or tear that isn't normal. How are your teeth holding up.What has your experience been?

Hi.I'm a 60 yr old male that did the initial consult with one of Dr G's dentist here in Las Vegas. I have a cpl of addt'l questions now that I've read some reviews. I have a small mouth and proportionately smaller teeth. Will the new teeth be similar to my old ones? Jim Carrey size teeth are not going to work for me. Also the mat'l they use. How durable is it and does it look and feel like normal teeth. I asked about the Zirconia but both the dentist and the lab guy did not seem so keen on them for several reasons. Also the price point is significantly higher. I don't know if you have the new mat'l that they use, currently in your mouth but any insight on this would be helpful. I appreciate your time. Thank you.
Oops, somehow I posted twice! So sorry
No problem on the duplicate. Send me a private message, and I'd be happy to answer all the questions I can.

I had some issues with my teeth, as I needed several root canals, and as a former smoker, I was very self concious about them. The local dentists in my area wanted 100k+ for a similar proceedure, and it would have taken months rather than a DAY! I left his office in Vegas with a movie star smile :).

Thanks for sharing your story. What was the treatment like? Recovery time?

Teddiemc, not sure if you're a competitor or what. I get protective over the FEW good people in this world, and Dr Golpa is one for sure. So, if I jump down someones throat for trying to steal business, making false claims about him, etc etc, please excuse me.
My experience with him was first class all the way. On top of Dr Golpa being the best at what he does, he's also the most caring Doctors I've ever met. He's not happy unless his patients are. From the 4 or 5 times I've been to Vegas, and visited, I always speak to his patients. I've yet to meet anyone who was not satisfied. The cost in comparison to what I was getting in my neck of the woods was a fraction.
All you really have to do is a little research on the man. I concider myself lucky (like lottery lucky) to have found him. Everything about my experience with him have been nothing short of first class. Hope this helps. I will not vouch for hardley ANYONE! ESPECIALLY a doctor /DDS, but I will put my word on the line for him! I can vouch for Dr Golpa. That's more than good enough!
How bout this. If anyone has any questions on what to expect...leave a messege for me, or email me. It's the least I can do for Dr Golpa.
Please do post B&A photos in support of your doctor, and for us to enjoy :)
I’m considering implants as the 7900$ I recently spent on root canals and crowns has proven to be a bad decision. How much should I expect to spend and how much discomfort? Thank you so much for posting your review. I don’t feel as scared as I did and may be ready ...

Michelle.
Feel free to send me a PM.
I was in a very similar situation.
I just
Got a quote for 6 implants with crowns extractions bob grafting from a local Dr that only does implants. I had some pretty radical ortho work down starting at age 9 and they left my 1st molars in my mouth which was a set up for failure. Miraculously they lasted despite having the roots of 1st molars which are meant to fall out around age eight. anyways I had them until I turned 38 and then them being missing and a bad root canal and an impacted wisdom tooth that was left in my mouth all need to come out so
I was expecting to be a candidate for all on six upper & lower. Well the treatment plan is to place
Six implants immediately following the three extractions and bone grafting all in one appointment. The dentist says my teeth have a lot of life in them and I am too young to pull them all so for the eight weeks following my procedure to replace the missing and failed teeth I will be seeing an associate of the implant dentist to start the process of restoration by placement of 17 high end crowns. I’m scared and the total cost will be 38k. What he said is natural teeth are far superior to a upper and lower denture supported by crowns which makes sense but I’m afraid I’m going to wind up wasting all this time & money and end up having to do the all on six anyways. Any thoughts on what you think I should do?
