I have checked into many options. This was not a painful process at all. I only had a numbing cream on my skin and a ice pac. I wad given 18 shots . I did get the bullfrog look. When I have my second treatment in January I can then check Into something to tighten my skin and help with the wrinkles on my neck.

Thank you. I tried Ultherapy and it did Nothing for me. That was a lot a money wasted! I did my whole face and neck. It is painful! My new Dr has told me she does not have the new Thermi machine but has said once I totally heal, that that may help with the tightening of the skin. You may want to look that up. Good luck.

I did Ultherapy as well and it did Nothing!!! My nurse was so disappointed, she did it again for free...still nothing!!! The pain of it was intense!!! How does this compare to that?

I've had thermi and ulthera. Ulthera worked well for me but thermi even better. However I had significant swelling with it. It is because the temperature was cranked up to melt neck/under chin and jawline fat. Something you do NOT want on the rest of the face but was good for me in those areas. The doctor can also devise a treatment that only tightens and does not treat fat with thermitight, resulting in less swelling. If that's what is desired.

Kybella would tighten skin even less than ulthera. It's for fat reduction, not skin tightening. Doctors say some patients see modest tightening due to the inflammatory response. But that's not really what kybella is for/designed to do.

Did you have Ultherapy?
January 20, 2016
Have you had Kybella yet? To me the pain was not as bad. The nurse held ice on my neck the same time the Dr was doing the injections. Ultherapy felt like it would never end . The Dr had to give me more pain meds during the procedure. After I do my second treatment in a couple of weeks ( today is January 19) I will probably get the Thermi-tight on my neck this fall.

I have a similar look. I have a drooping chin from the side and the front. Did you have any tightening done?? We are the same age and I have moderate laxity in my skin but am afraid of Kybella since it makes the skin swell even more. How are your results now?

I am getting ready to schedule my next. I have been waiting to see some after pictures from people. I don't feel that it is much of a change in my neck after one treatment but have heard it usually takes that second treatment to really kick in. I sure hate to go though all the swelling again . This is the best time of year to do it . Turtlenecks and scarves really help!

Yesterday, I went for consultation for my neck. I have had 2 lipos done about 15 years apart, my last 6 years ago. I am now 58 and going to have coolscupting done to reduce the small amount of fatty tissue on the sides of the neck. I did not like the review of Kybella and seriously, after seeing a friend's results, don't believe it does a whole lot. Liposuction is much more effective, especially if you are young. I am going to begin a post about the Coolsculpting of my neck. Scheduled for Fe. 19th.

Kybella review
dlmitch65February 11, 2016
I will be going on Friday for my second treatment of Kybella. I still have a pocket of fat under my chin. I keep telling myself that the Dr. told me it would take 2 treatments. I am so hoping I will not have the same amount of swelling for as long! I am hoping this was the right place for me to put my money. I have since learned about ThermiTight. My Dr. has told me if I am going to do the ThermiTight for the excess lines and skin that I need to wait several months until the Kybella has finished healing. Any thoughts on both procedures? I'm not going into this aging thing gracefully!

It's no joke you swell like a bullfrog!

New pics posted. I think when it's all said and done and I can have the official pictures from the doctors office they are better because my ankles are always different.

2nd Kybella treatment
dlmitch65February 14, 2016
With a topical this is not a painful treatment at all. I was hoping I would not swell the second time. It is a little more than the first I feel because I had 4 more injections than the first. Making it 22 shots. I am a little tender but not sore to the touch. Fingers crossed for the double chin that looks at me in the mirror to be gone!

How is it looking now? You are really swollen. But, it did look like you were having good improvement just before your second set of shots.

Hi. I am curious how you're doing now, many years later. I found your comment looking for people who have a similar situation to mine. I am currently 5 weeks post op and my right breast is higher and more tight than my left. I also feel like my muscle on that side is still pretty tight. But I'd love to hear how things turned out for you! Thanks!
Thanks for starting a review and posting a pic! Keep us posted on what you think as the swelling goes down, and on your next treatment.
