Ive been on obagi with the nightly trentinoin 0.1 for 3 weeks. The doctor said it would get rid of my under eye crepey wrinkles but it just seems to be making that area worse while the rest of my face is doing well. Is this just temporary or will the crepeyness eventually go away? I feel like nothing is going to work...it looks like its getting better but then i put makeup on and its horrid.
I am a 64 year old female with naturally freckeld skin. I have extensive photo aging on my legs, arms, chest, and hands - crepey skin, loss of elasticity, many, many dark (age) spots, and wrinkles. Can I use Retin A on my legs, arms, chest, and hands all at the same time? Or might that result in too much systemic Retin A absorption? Any other suggestions? I have had several peels, and I have tried IPL for the spots, but neither has been very effective, and neither has had a lasting benefit. Thank you!
Hello, I'm 31 and I started using retin a cream 0.05% 1 month ago for anti aging purposes specially around the eyes. I'm able to use it every day ( my face, neck and a tiny tiny bit mixed with moisturizer around the eyes) with no irritation, just some peeling. The problem is on my eyelids. My skin there is extremely crepey like an old lady and I don't know if it's normal. Did the retin a detroyed my eyelids or it is going to come back to normal after some time ? Thank you a lot.
Can you use Retin A on your eyelids? Will it improve the texture of loose crepey eyelid skin? I use it on my face and tolerate it very well -- no irritation or redness and I love the healthy glow I have from it. Would love it to have the same effect on my eyelids which look very dull by comparison.
My doctor prescribed Retin-a, vitamin C cream and sunscreen. I'm 31 and my main issue is the crepey skin on my cheeks when I smile. The doctor says is due to sun damage. She said that I don't need laser treatment. She owns the first and most prestigious laser clinic in Mexico, so If she said I don't need it, I believe her. I know that tretinoin won't erase my wrinkles, but I want to know which kind of improvement can I expect from the treatment? Will I really notice any improvement or is it only perceptible at a microscopic level?
I'm a little worried about using retin A on my neck 'cause I don't want spottines to occur there and I have to be so careful with sun exposure while using retin A 'cause the spots come out more quickly than ever - this is a drawback to retin A for those with thin translucent skin -- nobody mentions this drawback but it's for real.
