I first had my TT and DR repair in August 2020. It was mostly successful - skin was removed and I kept my old bellybutton. However, I ended up with a revision in February 2021 to improve the results. This time, my surgeon was able to remove more skin, and I ended up with a new bellybutton. Unfortunately, my skin wasnt elastic enough to stretch and fully remove the old bellybutton, so he just closed it up. Now its indented and Im wondering - is this normal? Can anything be done to improve it?
I'm 1 year Post Op of a Tummy Tuck with muscle repair and liposuction to 3 areas. I'm generally very happy with the results, and the scar has healed and faded really well. I'm just disappointed that I have this indentation, therefore a slight tummy overhang. It doesn't look much, but I had hoped it would be flat. Is this normal, or is there something that can be done? Many thanks. Jacky
11/21 Had ETT, lipo to flanks and back. 54 yo, 5'4, 167 lbs. Current weight 153 lbs. Wore garment as instructed with lipo foam boards 24/7 except for showers for 6 weeks. Indentations noted just a few days post-op. Had lymphatic massages but indentations progressed and now at 7 months post-op have an abnormal contour of waist/hips. Surgeon suggests revision with lipo to hips. What type of revision would you recommend? Do I need fat grafting to fill in the indentations?
I had a tummy tuck with umbilical and diastisis repair 4 years ago and now I have an indent with a slight separation in between my belly button and pubic bone.. is this normal?
I had extended tt w/ flank Lipo 7w ago. I have indentation right above my incision on my Left side. Will this blend away on its own ?Scar on back right side incision higher then left. . When I try on the swimsuit we used for Preop marking , the incision is 1 in outside of the top of the swimsuit for about 2 in long. I am using Silagen 2x daily . Can a revision correct this and if so is this an simple correction done in the office under local anesthetic? If not what are my options
