I had CO2 + fraxel peel 5 mths ago, but still had ice pick scars on nose + forehead, so got 30% TCA cross 3 1/2 weeks ago. Since then, I've been staying indoors, keeping wounds wet with growth factors, Neova Clinical Repair Copper Peptide Cream (which is a thick vaseline-like cream), Noeva Cu3 Recovery Lotion + emu oil. They don't seem to be healing. I eat a nutrient-dense diet, no smoking or alcohol, but as I'm keeping wounds moist, scabs have not developed. What to do? Thank you
It's been (one day) so far. I'm very worried that it will scar and stay this grayish color. It looks like a burn all over my checks and forehead. It doesn't look like it will peel because I believe the TCA was too strong for my skin and probably few days after microneedling didn't allow skin to heal quick before the peel. Will this be a permanent scar? Will this heal? I've been putting antibotic cream on it so far. What can I do on my own to heal this? No dermatologist near by. Help!
However, I cannot tell will they stay indented like this? They never really scanned over, just what seems to be a thin layer of dry skin covering them. Is this normal and will they continue to heal?
I applied 50% TCA peel in my forehead and right cheeks but I didn't notice that I put many amount that's why it caused burns. I'm on my 2nd day now but it doesn't disappear. I'm really afraid that it might cause a scar in my forehead and cheeks..please help me,i attached here some of my photos..
I recently did a TCA chemical peel to help with hyperpigmentation after an acne scab. The spot peeled and healed beautifully, however there is still the spot. It isnt dark like it was but it was noticeable. I dont know if I should continue to use chemical peels on it or not. I have used 4% Hydroquinone, tri-Luma cream, bio oil, nano needling and infrared.. I dont know what else I should do. I am an esthetician and have access to professional products
I just did 100% TCA Cross treatment earlier this morning about 12 hours ago and my skin looks very blotchy with dark spots, is this normal?! I feel like all the pictures Ive seen online about the TCA cross healing process look nothing like my skin, Im really worried these large blotches wont go away
I did TCA cross and microneedling in the same day. We did 60% TCA on some of my icepick / boxcar scars. Some of them he did really well, others I'm worried he may have applied too much and it got on the healthy surrounding skin. Will this result in more scarring? A lot of what I read online said you should only apply it deep in the scar and avoid getting it on the icepick scar border. I've been keeping them moist with Aquaphor and Neosporin. Anything I can do to aid in the healing of these?
I just got tca cross 60% last week and how will i know if it's healing properly? Are the scars supposed to be a bit reddish in its color? Should i worry? I have been washing my face with a gently mild cleanser exactly 1 day after the tca cross was performed. I wash twice a day only, one in the morning and one in the evening. How long will this last? Would i be allowed to get another TCA cross the following month? Would you say this is healing properly and excellently? Thankyou
