I got a black 1x2 tattoo on my ankle 18 years ago. I've read that laser removal can cause discoloration of surrounding lymph nodes, and taxes the auto-immune system. For this reason, as well as for speed and efficacy, I'm interested in surgical tattoo excision. How long would it take for the ankle skin to stretch sufficiently to not be tight after removal? Beyond short-term infection risks, are there long-term impacts to be aware of with excision?
4th pico tx 8 days ago. Last 2x, tech injected lido, 1st 2 tx's were so painful. All times I have blistered terribly. Last 2 times, groin lymph nodes extremely itchy & swollen. (allergic to surgical tape too so didn't help). Sudden onset of facial acne on day 5, cheeks, forehead mainly, but all over, except chin. What could this be? Is this related, or heat rash? (Been hiking as well)...No new face creams, etc. or meds. I normally have clear skin. Some teeny whiteheads.
I have a tattoo that is a year old on the inside of my forearm, which is on occasion raised and itchy. I understand that this is a mild allergic reaction, and it only lasts 30 mins at a time. If I was to consider a laser removal, would I be at risk of greater complications when my immune system takes the pigment away into my lymph nodes. Do you know if the ink particles broken down by the laser are removed from the body, or only kept permanently in the lymph nodes?
I have a lot of tattoos from 13 years ago to even last month. I've been reading about the tattoo ink in the lymph nodes. I'm worried of what could happen to me. I also wanted to know logistically how it works. Does tattoo ink go into the lymph when being tattooed or does it leach in throughout the years? I would like to know as far as information that's out so far I understand there is a lot we don't know...
Hello, I will make it as simple and short as possible. Ive read that TATTOO INK contains toxic metals, some of which go in the lymph nodes right when the tattoo is placed and some stay in the skin (obviously). When you undergo TATTOO REMOVAL with Laser, the ink gets shot and the pigment breaks up into SMALL particles. Now, those particles should be toxic (right?),and they go in your body 100%,no one really knows where so..isnt a Chelation Therapy after removal sessions good/safe for the future?
I did laser tattoo removal on the back of my neck for 6 months & had my lymph nodes swell up the size of a golf ball. Now four months later I have a mass on my lymph node on my throat that is cancer. I believe it was caused from the laser tattoo removal treatment. What do you think?
