I have a tattoo that is a year old on the inside of my forearm, which is on occasion raised and itchy. I understand that this is a mild allergic reaction, and it only lasts 30 mins at a time. If I was to consider a laser removal, would I be at risk of greater complications when my immune system takes the pigment away into my lymph nodes. Do you know if the ink particles broken down by the laser are removed from the body, or only kept permanently in the lymph nodes?
