I did laser tattoo removal on the back of my neck for 6 months & had my lymph nodes swell up the size of a golf ball. Now four months later I have a mass on my lymph node on my throat that is cancer. I believe it was caused from the laser tattoo removal treatment. What do you think?

Hi. Typically, blisters from tattoo removal form soon after the laser procedure is done. If the initial blisters healed completely, then it is unlikely that the current blisters are due to the treatment. You should definitely see your medical provider and get them checked out...

Each Doctor will have their preferred laser. Tattoos should be removed with q switched or pico lasers. It will take a series of treatments. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a laser tattoo removal expert. Best, Dr. Emer
