Im scheduled for a septoplasty tomorrow and I realized that 4 days ago I took an excedrin migraine. I hadnt taken one in months and now Im worried I wont be able to do the surgery. Any suggestions ?
I have a large septal perforation that is causing me severe migraines, sinus inflammation and pressure, difficult breathing , vision is blurry and am all messed up from my equilibrium being off. i have a constant nasal drip yet I can't find one doctor who will help me or knows how to repair this. I have been to several doctors, surgeons who say that it cannot be fixed... so what can i do about this ..i just can't live this way.there has to be something that can be done , someone who can help me .
I have a deviated septum, I was told this when I was too young to have the appropriate procedures done to address all of the issues I have concerning my nose. I have problems breathing, chronic migraines and constant nasal drip. Aside from the medical standouts Im also incredibly unhappy with my nose, because of the deviation my nose is clearly crooked. Do I start with my ENT? Or can I go straight to a plastic surgeon who is also an ENT? Whats the best way to satisfy my insurance? Thank you!
I recently had a septoplasty done 5 days ago and this morning I woke up with a migraine. Nothing is taking it away. I was only prescribed ibprophen 600mg for pain when I left the hospital due to the fact I'm in recovery. I can only take narcotics if I absolutely need too. I find it odd how it took 5 days to get a migraine. I've tried Naproxen, Tylenol, Advil, and even Excedrin, hot baths, ice, and stayed in a dark room all day. Nothing is taking it away!!
I had a septoplasty a month ago while I was menstrating. My nose bled 4 weeks after surgery with a gusher nose bleed. Last week I had my menstrual cycle. I have been extremely fatigue and have had a migraine for a week straight. I also have Polycystic ovarian syndrome. Who do I go see to treat this or atleast help me get some answers?
3/12 years ago i was assaulted. i have overgrowth of two unknown pieces of cartilage(i was told) in my nose that has changed the shape throughout every month. Also i get alot of pressure around those certain parts of my nose where the injury is extending, It results to alot of migranes and facial and sinus pains. i consulted with an ENT specialist but he come out with no need of operation or medication. i was shocked after what ive been through and still going through. What do i do?
I had a septoplasty surgery in June of 2014 to correct what another doctor had done. My nose became very narrow on the left side of my nose (it wasn't narrow before). After this surgery my nose still feels the same, blocked on one side. I'm not happy at all with the surgery, Because of this I keep getting migraines almost everyday, feeling tired because I'm mouth breathing all day. So I wanted to know how long should I wait before trying to correct this problem again? Thank you!
I have been having migraine type headaches for some time but the focus of pain is generally inside my right eye socket and around the bridge of my nose. My neurologist does not think that this could be the cause but I know in some people it can .. I did have a nasal operation 15 years ago to straighten the appearance of my nose but i think it was pretty basic .. I am not an expert on scans but attach a grab of the scan the neuro did on my brain which i think causes a deviation - Thanks !
