I went to this local aesthetician who has convinced me to get rid of my facial wart thru laser which I really regret now. He didn't do a good job at all. He burned my skin creating like a circular wound. It has been a month now and the area looked pretty well healed but it is darker than usual, like dark red. The scar now feels flat, but wrinkly, shiny, looks like a small blister but with no fluid inside it. During the month I have applied biocorneum and aquaphor on top of it after it dries.
I had a burn scar on my cheek excised almost a month ago and it is currently depressed and still discolored. I know it takes awhile to remodel but I'm mainly concerned about the indentation, will this fill in over the next few months? Area is still slightly hard and tad swollen. Is there anything I should be doing to help the healing process? Surgeon just said Aquaphor, please advise.
Hi there. I have incident in which cut my left chick one and half month befor. Now it's in healing process . I using silicon sheets every night for min 12 hrs. and Aquaphore healing ointment in day and not get in sunshine . What's the best I can do to minimize the scar. Any future surgery or treatment which can minimize the scar? Thanks
My doctor told me that he needed to be aggressive and remove this particular spot that had a decent amount of scar tissue in order for the prior smaller scars to heal correctly. he said it was deep and it would need to heal over a 3 month period and would use a filler to raise the scar. I am at a complete loss as to what can be done now as the co2 treatment caused this scar. As of right now I have been instructed to wash 3 times a day and keep the scar covered with aquaphor. Please help!!!
