I'm wondering what skin care products are best to use in the morning when using tretinoin cream at night. I'm already using Cerave cream at least twice daily due to dryness from the tretinoin and sunscreen daily, but I'm wondering if there are any other products that are good to use to maximize the effects of tretinoin and minimize dryness/side effects. Are Vitamin C serums good to use (I've been looking at AlumierMD's EverActive C&E + Peptide product)?
I recently used a Retinol eye creme with encapsulated retinol nightly for 3 weeks. On the last night I noticed my under eyes were super dry, looked aged and were covered in deep and new fine lines. I have been moisturizing around the clock but the dryness seems to still remain. Slightly better but I feel thats more my optimism than the truth. Will this ever go away? Are these lines going to remain this deep? Please help! Thanks in advance.
I've had large pores for a long time. I've tried IPL, TCA peel, and a laser peel but nothing seems to help much. Is there a better treatment or topical? I also have greasy looking skin, although it tends to be quite dry. Thank you in advance for your advice!
I am about on my second week of using epiduo, I recently just gradually starting to use it on a daily basis instead of every other day due to that I thought my skin would be able to handle it. As I was washing it off it became relly sensitive and it has cause a burning sensation that I couldn't bare. I would have my face in the freezer. Now I have this scaling/peeling effect on the bridge of my nose. I would exfoliate it with a cold rag and its gotten worse. It seems like it wont go away.
I stoppted over 3 months ago. My skin under the eye is still really dry. Also my under eye look really dark comapred to my other eye..... my question is will this stop over time as i would have thought 3 months would have been enough time for any side effects to stop
My face feels dry, chapped, tight, and scaly. My doctor prescribed Retin-A 0.05% for acne and scarring, and Ive only been using it for 3 days. Theres been no new pimples or acne, but now my face feels as if its been sunburnt, or wind burnt, and is dry, peeling, itchy, and tight. any form of moisturizer (alcohol free, hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic, sensitive skin), makes it burns even more. So Ive been using raw Shea butter. Im not sure if i should stop before it gets worse, or if its just gonna be like this for a little while?
