I had a PRP treatment done to help my ice pick scars, I have lots of scars over my fsce that look like holes. The practitioner put a needle directly into each of these scars and injected PRP deep into these scars. I have never heard of such a treatment where the needle is pushed so far into each of these holes. What have they done? I cant find any information about this online and I dont think it has improved my scars at all. Im worried they have made them worse by incorrectly treating them
Hi, I am 35 y, had Prp injections 3x with 4-5 weeks apart, then 1x of Ultherapy treat mild sagging of the jaw and droopy lip corners, my face was not particularly fat (treatment lasted about 35 min) with a machine Ultraformer 3. I felt the machine was aggressive, it hurt, I had shots with 1.5mm 2mm and 4mm head. Unfortunately only after I had the treatment noticed horrible volume loss stories which had to be treated with PRP. Does my previous PRP help to prevent the possible volume loss?
I did PRP for eyebags and my injector left me worse than when I came in. She left me a bruise that covered the entire eye. It bled for 2 days, my eye was swollen to the point where it was hard to open it. I apply ice, arnica and still do because the bruise hasnt completely gone away.
Hello, I had a PRP injection to my face yesterday, only using the plasma, not any filler. I thought since the plasma is thin and your own blood there is no risk of going blind from it.. I feel irritation in my eye and some swelling under the eye area, and I am now paranoid I will go blind. My vision was fine after the procedure. Is it still possible to have vision loss because of a PRP under eye injection?
How long after PRP injections are platelets active or attaching, such that you have to avoid blood thinners? For example, if you get an ozone treatment you often get about 1000 units of heparin, that is active for about 3-4 hours in the system. Should you wait a week, or more or less, to avoid anything with any kind of blood thinning effect after PRP injections so that the platelets can work correctly?
I had one session of PRP injections three months ago, mainly for a bit of volume and lift to the lower face, but now my skin has tightened so drastically that my chin has shrunk and my face looks unproportionally smaller. I already had a thin face to begin with so I am very unhappy with the results. Can I expect these results to wear off over a few months and my face to return back to its original proportions? How long should it take? I am 43 years old.
I had a PRP treatment almost a month ago under my eyes. Prior to this I had very clear skin and have never suffered from any acne or pimples and now a month on I still have tiny bumps in the area the PRP was done. Will they recover by themself and how long will it take? It also appears a vein must of been damaged during the process as I have a little bulge and blue/purple vein under my eye that was not apparent before.
