Is it safe to routinely inject PRP in the under eye area?

I've had 3 PRP treatments to my under eye area and have noticed improvement but I'm wondering how wise it is to continue injecting in this delicate area? Thank you for your time.

Hi Brave387092. It is completely safe to do multiple PRP/PRF treatments in this area. I usually recommend the initial series be done with at least 3-5 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart. I also recommend maintaining your results with at least 1-2 treatments a year. Because PRP/PRF is derived from your own blood, results can be variable. Yes you can have regular PRP injections under eye. Since PRP is derived from your own blood product, it is safe to continue its use. The needle injections also create microtrauma which stimulates collagen production. This also helps with overall skin integrity. Consistent PRP treatment yields the best results.
