Hi, I'm 10 days post op liposuction. Earlier today I slipped and fell and landed very hard on my lower back, on incision. I had my back flanks done and hips and above buttucks area. Now I am in so much pain spasms come and go above and around buttucks. I'm still in garment, I checked wound no bleeding but it is thorbing heaps and feels like it's swelling. My question is what happens to the area I treated after falling hard on it. Is there going to be damage and have I ruined anything.
My Dr. thinks that Liposuction/tummy tuck wld help me tremendously. I hv scoliosis, w/dble twisted curve, I'm 68. Failed back surgery, then pain pump. Rmvd problems w/pump/meds-Morphine then Dilauded. Now hv elec stim. w/epiderals 2x/yr. Both knees replaced. Fibromyalgia. I'm 5'3-245 lbs. Therapy many times, w/little/no results. Use walker for short distances. Longer use wheelchair/scooter. Cannot do any exercises-back goes into terrible spasms, then I'm laid up in bed for a couple days.
2 months ago I had submental liposuction from an incision placed under my chin. My platysma muscle is now bulging out, and I am experiencing a change in my ability to move my head due to pain and tugging of the muscle under my chin. My PS said it is a spasm, and tried botox. The botox did not help. I am a healthy 31 yr old female. I had no issue with this muscle before the surgery. The skin under my chin feels overly tight, don't want any tightening procedures, I want the opposite.
i had lipo to my back and a tummy tuck done almost 3 mths ago. Ever since the lipo on my back I have been experiencing chronic back pain. My surgeon says this is very unusual. It's feels like my tissues/nerves have been damaged in some way. Whenever I move I get a spasm of pain. If I'm active it's not so bad, but the sec I rest ie sitting or sleeping and I move from one position to another I get a spasm of pain - it's like a heat/burning sensation. Any ideas what the cause is and what remedy.
