I have a lump in my calf. I went to the hospital and we thought it was a blood clot. We did an ultrasound and it wasn't. Dr said it's a lipoma of left lower extremity. It hurts when I touch it. My left ear won't pop either could that be from the lipoma?? I'm scared cause I've never had this before.
I now have 2 much larger ones on the inner and upper part of both thighs which are not painful but bother me aesthetically. I've also had recurring left ankle, foot and calf swelling which gets worse as the day goes on. I've been taking Lasix 40 mgs. for approximately 6 months with no improvement. My question is could it be possible that the left lipoma is decreasing the blood flow to my left leg?
I have been told what is in my right calf is a lipoma. The first surgeon I went to wanted to cut it out and said it would leave a large scar on my leg and did not schedule any type of imaging tests. It made me Nervous so I went to another surgeon for a second opinion and she scheduled a ct scan. She said she would not be able to help because of concerns with my veins and referred me to a vascular surgeon with whom I havent consulted with yet. Thank you
6 months ago, my toes started twitching like crazy. It only occurred on my left foot and wasn't painful, so I ignored it for awhile. Since then, my issues have progressed. The twitching does come and go, but my toes will sometimes lock in a downward position and require me to physically pull them back up. Cramps in calf too. AIl are quite painful. Recently I felt a lump in my left calf. Not huge, but there. Ultrasound revealed lipoma or another small mass. Had MRI...came back normal?
