I am planning on going to turkey for a rhinoplasty. I am requestion a buccal fat pad removal and possibly a lip lift. My concern is, with my face shape i believe my upper lip will be exposed more and it is already long. With a lip lift, my top lip is already bigger than my bottom lip so a lip lift will just make is even more noticeable. Can a surgeon reposition my nostrils downwards and do a lip lift? It is hard to imagine frontal views of outcome of surgery.
I have never had any procedures, I am currently being treated with Invisalign for my teeth and bite alignment as I have a slight over bite. I am self conscious regarding the visibility of my nostrils and the philtrum area under my nose, it's very sloped and my upper lip is not visible. I would like recommendations on whether it's possible to make this look better in a non-surgical way? Or is surgery the only option? Thankyou!
I have an extremely long philtrum for a woman. my nostrils are very visible. To me, it seems like the whole bottom part of my face sags and my upper face is being dragged down to reach it, if that makes sense. My lips sitting so low makes my nostrils droop to reach them. Not sure if this is relevant, but when I smile and/or pull my nostrils up and back, it seems to improve both of these issues. Do I need jaw surgery or a lip lift and/or rhinoplasty?
I hate how wide my philtrum is. It ages me and doesnt feel feminine. Id like the top to be more pinched like the photo including the area near the nostrils. I just had a second rhinoplasty and do not want another one. Would a lip lift be able to achieve this?
I have an atrophic surgical scar along my alar wing border down to my nostril as a result of a lip lift. What are the best ways to treat this kind of scar. So far I've been told dermabrasion, CO2 laser (already had fraxel and CO2 laser with little improvement), electrodessication (for scar webbing'). It looks like the scar margins spread and the scar is indented.
I want to change the position of my scar so that its much closer to my nostrils, and pretty much totally hidden. It is currently just underneath my base of my nose so its very obvious. Would i need a scar revision or would i need a lip lift revision?
I've had several revision rhinoplasties to correct a collapsed septum after the initial rhino, mostly closed, but two open.i do have scars on the sides of my nostrils as well as at the septum. I want to have an alarplasty to further narrow and even them. I also want a lip lift to improve tooth show, that's the sole purpose. I'm deeply worried about lip lift scarring, so should I have these procedures separately, or together?
