Lip Blushing Q&A

Over the past few years I have developed brown areas / spots on or around my lips. Is there a corrective treatment I can pursue, or should I instead look at something like lip blushing?

My upper lip has a section that has a different tone- its been like this for a long time and I have no idea whats it called or if Im able to have it reversed. Looking for some answers.

I had a lip blushing done and then had it removed with saline removal. This summer I was pregnant and had a bad pigmentation all around my face including my lips. Now I have these scars on my lips. It looks like I have lip liner on. What can be done ?

Hi about 6 months ago something weird happened to my lips. Suddenly they lost so much color and they look so pale and smaller now. You can almost not see my cupids now anymore and I get really depressed because my lips are looking pale and smaller and lacks definition. What can I do to go back to my normal lips again? I put vaseline on my lips every single day so hydration is not the problem. I am only 25 years old so i dont think its about aging. Please look at the difference in the pictures

Hi, Ive had filler done and am quite happy with the results. I am curious, from an MD point fo view if there are any downsides to lip blushing which I should be aware of?

Ive seen posts where people with dark lips get this procedure and it turns their lips pink, its slightly different from lip blushing, they call it dark lip neutralization. Can I get this treatment if Ive had keloids on my body in the past? Ive tried electrolysis on the face without any issues

I have lips that are uneven and somewhat thin at rest. They improve when I smile.

21 year old female. Have untreated cheilitis on my lip for about 2 years now. Back in 2020 I had pigment changes along the bottom lip border of my lips. Recently, my lip shape and size has changed significantly. My lip tissue is shrinking and going away along with thinning. I am also having hair grow over where my lips used to be. I have seen a few dermatologists no help at all. Referred me to a plastic surgeon but none can help w the issue. Wat docs specialize in treating this. anyinfowillhelp

A few years ago I noticed some dark spots on my lip. I went to my dermo who suggested I do laser. I was unsure so we decided to do a test on one of thr two dark spots. It made things worse so I recieved a lip blush or whats called a lip neutralization. Im happy with the color but the dark spots still bother me. Is there anything I can do?

I am an African American Women who has dealt with this issue since 1st grade. As a young child I had an addiction to peeling the skin of my lips when they became very dry. Over years the skin came back very minimal but is there something I can do to fix this issue. I have had such insecurities about my lips its time for a change!
