About 8 years ago I had the toenails on my big toes permanently removed due to recurring fungal infectious. The nail bed on the left toe was completely removed, but not on the right toe. It continues to grow like a thickened, deformed nail thickening but not lengthening. Just wondering if there are any procedures to artificially and permanently replace my nails so I can no longer be embarrassed to show my feet.
I'm an 18 year old woman who recently found a splotchy purplish mark underneath my big toe, I work in hospitality and as a result my toe has suffered an ingrown toenail. I was wondering if the purple mark is a fungal infection or something more serious? I don't have any pain or other symptoms (other than a chest infection/bronchial infection that is separate), Fungal or melanoma?
I have severe toenail fungus that started when I was younger. I didn't know what it was then but as I've gotten older it's gotten worse and I'm tired hiding my feet in public and I'm ready to treat something that's been my biggest insecurity my entire life. I also have what I was told is bunions that I've always wanted to correct as well because my family laughs about them. Both the fungus and bunion causes me pain when wearing shoes. How can I fix this?
How long do results from Lunula treatment last? Is there an ideal waiting period between sessions or should I just have this done when fungus is present? I would like to prevent infection from coming back as long as possible.
I am interested in Lunula for fungud in my big toe but considering the fact that my insurance will not cover this, i would like some clarification. Will Lunula completely get rid of the fungus or does it just fix discoloration that it causes?
