I'm a trans man who hasn't started testosterone yet but I want to. The thing is that I'm getting laser hair removal because I have too much body hair (which I'm not entirely fond of). My question is if I start hormonal therapy, would I need to do the procedure again? If so, how often would I need to do it again?
About a few months ago- I visited an endocrinologist &!had blood work done. My testosterone level was above normal- I got a call from his secretary & was told the DR. said that's normal. Even the lab tech asked if I was pregnant since this is a type of test they do on pregnant women. I said no. Which type of Dr. is the best in specializing with these issues? Dermatologists? Endocrinologists? Gynecologists? Is there any Dr. that anyone can refer me to in the NYC/NJ area that can help me?
Ive been getting testosteron injections almost since 2010 and it is going to be almost life time treatment. I become hairy since then; what bothers me is the hair on my back and shoulder and upper arm, and Im thinking to do laser for hair removal. Do you think its going to work ? Or getting the injections will make the laser treatment not beneficial.
I had a delayed puberty due to being born with Partial Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome, grade 3. Being resistant to testosterone, I had soft, fair skin. I hated facial hair and frankly thought it was disgusting. 12 sessions of laser made my face look really feminine to the point where I get 'Maam at times. Is there any way to grow some or all of it back because they call it reduction and not permanent like electrolysis is? Thanks
