I had a years worth (12 sessions) of laser hair removal on my face. Is there any chance to grow it back? (photos)

I had a delayed puberty due to being born with Partial Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome, grade 3. Being resistant to testosterone, I had soft, fair skin. I hated facial hair and frankly thought it was disgusting. 12 sessions of laser made my face look really feminine to the point where I get 'Maam" at times. Is there any way to grow some or all of it back because they call it "reduction" and not "permanent" like electrolysis is? Thanks

It sounds like you had a good reaction to laser hair
 removal. And yes it is "permanent reduction" of hair. The hair that 
does grow back tends to be finer hair. You may grow some hairs back over
 time,but exactly how much will have to be determined over time.

Laser hair removal is permanent reduction over time. Most of those hairs will not grow back, but some might. It also will depend on the type of laser used and the skill level of the provider -- 12 sessions with your skin color and facial hair is a little unusual. So now you need to wait -- and see what will come.

When a follicle reacts to laser hair removal in a positive way, that means the follicle is destroyed and cannot produce hair anymore. However, we do always say that new hair follicles will develop over time, that is why it is called "reduction". These will be few and far between, but they do develop. Laser hair removal requires maintenance to treat these new follicles, assuming that's what you want. So, you cannot regrow hairs that have been permanently affected ever. But you may get a few new hairs from time-to-time as follicles develop. "This answer has been solicited without seeing this patient and
