I'm looking to get a labiaplasty. However, I'm worried about keloid scaring. I'm very prone to it. I've had other surgeries/injuries where all the incisions became a keloid. I'm currently having steroid injections. It works on some scars, not all. Should I still get the labiaplasty or just skip it? I'm worried about getting a keloid and causing myself further pain. I would hate to be stuck getting steroid injections for a long time trying to flatten the scar, especially in that area. Thank you.
I'm 32. I'm primarily interested in this procedure because my whole life I have had issues with pants being uncomfortable in the crotch area. I'm size 0 or 00 depending on the brand. I have mostly worn leggings or sweatpants in my life because they fit tightly to everything. Most pants are just loose enough that the crotch brushes up against my labia, and this is more uncomfortable than if it was a snug fit. Could getting this surgery help?
My mons pubis is kinda large to the point it makes my labia majora seem droopy, & when I spread my legs it's makes the effect like my majora is empty/ saggy, and kinda even looks droopy in the standing up position what is the recommendations for me to make this go away? Mons lipo or labia majora reduction? I am at average weight
I've been wanting a labia majora reduction for about 5 years now due to insecurity and discomfort. The procedure seems to just now be becoming more popular.. I really want to get it done but I'm worried for some of the aesthetic complications I've seen.. a type of pulling effect that still makes the area look wrinkly? Is this avoidable? What causes this? Is this always a risk with this surgery?
