reduce/remove the awful facial redness like I thot it wud, but has helped sumwhat reduce the 'prickly heat/stinging' sensations; the machine is a Palomar. My skin is sensitive to everything (heat/cold) and was nicely told I'm a dificult case; I'm at my wits end! IPL treatmts are my last resort, Metrogel 1% DID NOT help much; is there ANYTHING ELSE I can do or use-other machines/facial products, etc.-to reduce/remove redness & flushing? Rosacea socialy cripples me, I use heavy concealr EVERY DAY
I had 1st IPL done week ago. Very plae skin, and A LOT of freckles. After 1st day ONLY 10 frecles turned darker, out of a million!skin wasnt even red. I was asked to come back for 3rd run in 4 days, to finish first treatment (long story:)). The 3rd run- on higher setting (as I was told), but didnt hurt at all (comparing to 1 time), and - no redness, no swelling, AND NOT A SINGLE MORE DARK FRECKLE!!! like I wouldnt have done anything on my face. Is IPL not working? Do I need higher settings?
I had IPL for my red marks 2 days ago. i literally don't see any improvement at all. she said i need 5 treatments. i got a feeling this stuff aint working or her ipl laser isn't good? are there any better / more effective treatments available for red marks? i also got some scars with the red marks. so maybe its better to do another treatment? i really need to get rid of the red acne marks / scars before MAY. pls advice what is the best thing to do? also what are ur thoughts on yag laser 4 acne?
I am now 5 weeks after ipl treatment on hands arms and face to try and fade or erase lentigos as diagnosed by derm. I am skin type II, and i see no change in my spots. Doctor used Lynton ipl and another doc says he will try yag. I would be grateful for your comments thanks Ally
I went to a dermatologist for a red rash on my lash line that was itchy. She told me it sounded like ocular rosacea and sent me to an ophthalmologist. He only did IPL on me. I went to another DR and she only gave fish oil pills. No one is addressing the cyclical nature of my rash. 1. Red itchy eyeliner. 2. Swelling and drooping of my eye. 3. Pus along my lash line. The cycle takes 3 weeks and repeats. Im also losing or have misdirected eyelashes. I am wondering why no DR has mentioned demodex
