I have a lumineer on my number 10 tooth and for some reason or another my real tooth died two years after the placement. Now my tooth is dark and it even shows thru the lumineer. My dentist recommend internal bleaching, but he said the only way to do that is while he is doing a root canal. for some reason I hear that you don't need a root canal to get internal bleaching done? is that right?
I had internal bleaching on my front tooth around 4 years ago, but it has got much darker again. My dentist said after my last internal whitening that my tooth would probably be too weak to repeat the process again and I would likely need a crown. I am in my late 20s and wondering if I should try the internal bleaching again (last time it had some impact but it was not drastic) or whether I would be better now opting for a crown to protect the tooth?
I had a root canal done in one of my front tooth which began to grey over time. My dentist recommended internal bleaching and drilled an access hole into my tooth. I was then given some at home whitening to use until the tooth reachrles the desired shade. Is it safe for the hole to be left open? I'm worried about further decay? I brush twice a day
Hello, some years back I had a trauma on my front tooth. It got darker, and Ive made an internal bleaching at the time. Some years passed and on that tooth I put a ceramic crown. At the time looked great, but now, after 3 years I notice that my tooth is darker again. Its noticeable a darker color inside the crown. My question is, can I do an internal bleaching again on this tooth that has a ceramic crown?
When I was younger, i fell and cracked my front tooth and now it's darker. I'm only 23years old and I think that internal bleaching is more useful than veneers or crowning for my case. In your opinion, what is the best course of action to restore a dead tooth and how long will it last?
I recently had a root canal on my front tooth and had internal bleaching done since it was slightly grey towards the top. Now, I am in the process of leveling out my front teeth. I would rather have composite bonding done on my other front tooth so they can be the same length. However, my dentist recommends a veneer on both front teeth since they believe the root canal tooth will eventually revert back to its old color. Is this true? Which is the better option?
I chipped #9 when I was young. I've always got a bonding done but my natural tooth is starting to darken. I don't want RCT if I don't need it but my dentist suggested that and internal bleaching to lighten the tooth. I was leaning towards veneers for #8 & 9 but he said being 25 years old I'll be replacing them often. Which is better ?! Internal bleaching and RCT or veneers ?!
I had a root canal and internal bleaching on a front tooth. After carefully revisiting the Endodontist to get the color right, the permenant filling was placed by my dentist. About 2 months later, the tooth suddenly began to look significantly whiter than the others. It's almost blue. I was convinced my blue listerine was affecting the color so I switched to the original yellow. Any ideas on how to fix this? Could the listerine do anything?
I've had root canal and internal bleaching in the past but the tooth after a year has turned yellow again. Should I keep getting internal bleaching or a crown or veneer etc ? I have a gap between my front teeth anyway that I'd like to try and make look better. Thanks
When i was a kid i fell down and my tooth fractured later as i was aging my tooth started to become a bit discolored. They did root canal treatment, and composite build up of the Fractured part after a year now the tooth became so discolored with a yellowish color. I have a dilemma whether to do internal bleaching or composite vennering. Cant bleaching weaken the tooth more? Since i have a composite restoration, can it be bleached too? Or i go for a composite veneer?
