I had a sleeve gastrectomy 2 weeks ago and I just started feeling this sharp pain 4 days ago in my abdomen on the right lower quadrant. The pain is nowhere near my incision. It is just lateral to my bellybutton. It feels like I'm being stuck by a knife or pinched really really hard. The pain is the worst when I'm sitting, when I lean up when sitting, or when I bent over to pick something up off the ground. This is excruciating pain. Is this something to worry about?
Hi there! I am 2 weeks post-op and I have been struggling with dehydration, extreme fatigue and the latest problems are headache and upper back & shoulder pain. Should I be worried?
So I had my vsg surgery on 3/12/2019 and the past 2 weeks I have been able to eat smaller of course but much more then I should I have no problems getting meat down or cheese healthy meats of course I also have had a few mental emotional days n ate a whole hot dog once I know I'm an idiot but what got me worried I ate it no problem no pain nothing then I noticed I'm able to eat anything I want n about 5 oz at a time n in my mind I'm like this isn't possible why am I okay n never had pain ??
I'm almost 2 weeks postop and no matter what I eat whether it be broth or sometimes even water, I'm almost immediately in the bathroom with several follow-up trips within the half hour. This is making it very hard to get my proper intake of protein and liquids that I need. My surgeon said it was normal and to keep drinking and eating but I'm very tired and weak. Any advice? Thank you.
