My new dental implant has been hurting ever since it was put in. Today the implant fell out of my mouth, and Im noticing that it is not straight. It is on quite an angle. Is it abnormal to install implants on an angle? Might that be why it was hurting? I had implants before and I had no problem. Also, I only went in three times this time. I have gone in 12 times. I went with a different dentist this time since I moved. Any help be appreciated, thanks
Hi the two metal inserts that were inside my bottom denture have both come away and Im left with 2 holes, nothing for the implants to click on to. Can I use denture fixer in the holes, bite teeth so I'm left with an area where my implant can go into without rattling? thankyou
Did 2 implant procedures 3 weeks ago and one of them fell off yesterday, just the screw covering the hole. I am on holiday and don't cpome back for 2 weeks. Can I wait or should I see a dentist? Thanks
Why do they keep falling out of the top denture..the bottom is tight and secure. The top feels a little loose. Could my gums have shrunk that much? I had this done in July..don't have permanents yet.
I had the remains of a broken tooth removed that had a previous root canal/crown. At the time of extraction, a bone graft was done in preparation for an implant. I am worried that I have either dry socket or a failed bone graft as the pain is still here & the membrane and sutures that were placed fell out on day two (operation was performed just prior to the weekend). Is it a given that the bone graft failed? I have pain & you can see the grafting material is showing. It is my upper left eyetooth.
My front dental implant has fallen out. The screw is attached to the implant still (although a piece if it is broken off into my gums). Can i use Temp Dent, poli-grip or super glue to hold my implant in until i can get to the dentist? I can't go around without my front tooth. Also can you give me an approximate of how much it will be to replace it? Can i just reuse my implant that i have?
