Composite vs regular veneers - which is the best option? (Photo)

Thanks in advance for any help or opinions provided. A year ago I chipped my tooth and had a composite veneer done. I wasn’t happy with the shade match so I consulted with other dentists and all didn’t feel like they could get it whiter. The clinic that did the composite said they referred me to a well known cosmetic dentist, but they were informed that he didn’t think he could get it whiter either. So then I became set on veneering my 2 front teeth. My main dentist that I went back to after all of this started said that he didn’t think he could get a shade match for the composite and agreed to do 2 front veneers. He was confident in his ability to match my surrounding teeth but he did think it would be a challenge as he most commonly does cases with more teeth being veneered. I trust him though and he knows how picky I am. I then went for a second consult to the cosmetic dentist mentioned earlier in my post. I went in asking for 2 front veneers but he felt that the best option would be to redo my composite. I don’t think he knew I was loosely referred before as it wasnt really a formal consult, rather he had connections to the dental clinic that did my composite. After looking at my teeth, he said that’s what he would do if it was his teeth that were being worked on. I trust that he can do a good job, but I am hesitant about going the composite route again, but also hesitant to do 2 veneers. I’m undecided on what to do because I want the best colour match possible.
