There is an article from 2012 entiled Fractional CO2 laser as an effective modality in the treatment of striae alba in skin types III IV that talks about the use of laser for stretch marks. There is one picture attached and the result seems impressive. However, I have read lots of negative reviews about the fact that this laser is ineffective for stretch marks. Can a significant improvement be achieved in your opinion? Thanks
I had COs laser around my eyes and on the front of my thighs for stretch marks. It looks good except that now (2.5 months out) I have been left with redness in those areas. Is this permanent? What can I do to bring the skin back to a more normal color?
55, 132 pounds, 14 months P.P. Diastasis Recti only around the navel. Can I get a toned look and get rid of the pouch with BodyTite/Lipo, tighten the loose skin with Morpheus8 and minimize stretch marks with CO2 Laser? Is it possible? Or are their better procedures/methods out there to avoid having a tummy tuck? I dont want the long scar from hip to hip. I could consider a mini tummy tuck with lipo using the c-section scar or an incision thats much shorter in length than a full tummy tuck.
I gave birth to a baby 3 months ago and developed many stretch marks across my abdomen. I went to a clinic and the dr recommended VBeam treatment (in order to make them white as far as she told me) so she can then use CO2. Is this procedure right? VBeam is a must before CO2? Do you think that CO2 will help in making the stretch marks disappear or just fade? When should I schedule next procedure? Thank you!
I am a white 46 year old, I have had three children/pregnancies. Approximately five years ago I had lipo on buttocks, hips, inner and outer thighs. Abdominal plasticity with lipo. Looked amazing afterwards, very pleased with the outcome. Recently I have lost about 20lbs. My question is, what options do I have to correct this? Is CO2 an option. In general, what do plastic surgeons suggest or would be the go to solution? Thanks in advanced.
I have stretch marks on arms, stomach, hips and thighs. would it be safe to have all these areas treated on the same day or would it diminish the results? would it be too much strain for my body? I was thinking of getting a laser treatment done and then waiting 15 days to microneedle, and then wait another 15 days to gave a laser treatment again. is it safe to microneedle before and after laser treatments? i thought it may give me better results combing the two
25 year old female - brown skin. Ive too many stretch marks all over my body. I understand we cant remove stretch marks especially old white ones but Ill be happy with any kind of improvement. Currently I can only afford to do one procedure and I was wondering in your experience what do old stretch marks respond better to? CO2 fractional or RF microneedling? Ive seen a few deems and some suggest MNRF while some say CO2 fractional is a better option.
I am a petite (size 6/8), healthy 24 y/o. I have had these stretch marks, and cellulite, in the outer thigh/bum area since I was 15/16. I have been advised different treatments to improve the appearance of these stretch marks and would like to understand whether you would recommend Profound RF, Fraxel or Fractional C02 laser. Which will provide optimal results, and how many sessions would be needed approx. Would any of these treatments also help reduce the appearance of cellulite? Thanks, A.
Would CO2 laser permanently fade white stretch marks from a medium skin tone? Is this procedure done only once or does it need multiple treatments? After the procedure is done are maintenance treatments required to maintain the results?
