Hello, 4 days ago I got my new chin implant after the last one was placed incorrectly. Now, after I visited the surgeon, a car hit me after driving backwards. I didn't get hurt or anything. But I got scared after the car pushed me away on my shoulder. So I immiadetly turned around and felt pain in my chin. So my question is: Is there any chance or risk for my implant to move, because I turned around very quick and got pushed away by the car? Best regards!
I had a silicone chin implant 8 years ago. Last night it was hit with a tennis ball during a tennis game and now it is very swollen and square. I understand the swelling but it suddenly appearing square worries me that it might have shifted. Unless the swelling is just causing it to falsely appear to have changed into square shape. Should I see someone today to fix this or this just swelling and there is no damage to the implant? I'd honestly love to have it removed anyway. I've hated it since I got it.
Hi doc, i was in 9days post chin implant until my sister kicked my left jaw hard when shes asleep, so hard until it was red and swollen. Now it is still swollen and tender but no longer red. However im worried if my implant has shifted. Or if it is just swollen. My surgeon is out of town for another 2 weeks so i cannot ask him now.. With this questions, im attaching the pic. Please answer me since i am so hopeless.. Thanks doctor!
Hi! I'm only 1 day post op from a chin implant and obviously it's a little tender but I was wondering how fragile are the implants? I recently read an article that said your bones grow into the implant and since this information is new to me, can anyone tell me if this is true? What would I expect to happen if in 3 months time if I happened to bump or knock my chin? Would this significantly effect it's placement?
