I had a chemical peel done and my doctor said i was forsting. She only gave me a very mild peel. My skin is horrible. The orginal peel was a stronger one. I just wanted to know 1) whats frosting 2) what would you recommend for my face.
I did a 40% glycolic peel, left on for 4 minutes and neutralized on Saturday night. I had frosting immediately after in one spot on my chin. Now that spot has turned into a really dry, red spot.
I did a fusion peel at home which has, tca acid, lactic acid, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, resorcinol and fruit enzyme complex. I left it on for 6 minutes, and nutrilized it then washed with cold water. My face is white and burning. I'm currently using skinstitut laser aid
I have been using retinoic acid at 2% strength every night for about 8 days now. I bought something multi fruit acid (it's apparently got all the AHAs) and have been advised to use it once every three days as a toner. But when I applied it it stung so much and my face turned white!!!!!! I washed it off immediately, then it stayed white for about two minutes before my skin returned to its normal colour. I just want to know, will my skin be damaged or peel extremely?
I have been administering light peels to myself from a reputable company for awhile now. I gave myself a 12.5% TCA peel- 3 layers. No frosting and no peeling after (just flaking). 7 days after, I did a mandelic/salicylic peel (15% of each acid). My skin actually frosted in a few spots, and seemed pretty angry. A few spots (including where it frosted) turned a pink/purple color- very faint discoloration. The rest looks like it typically looks before it would peel. Was this a mistake?
