Hello, I had a bilateral browlift 5 weeks 1 day ago and feel that my eyebrows have dropped a lot since the op. My surgeon said they will drop some, but what worries me is they seem to have dropped a lot and every few days they seem less and less high. Is it possible for them to go back to their original position which was very low? will they stop dropping now that I am over 5 weeks post op? the skin has flattened out - no longer bunched at the temples... I am young looking no wrinkles 34 yo
He said they would probably dissolve but that if they didn't, he would remove them at my follow up appointment about 6 weeks after surgery. I still have the sutures and i have had slight bleeding on 2 ocassions. I will see him this week but my question is, were his recommendations the right thing to do? Were they left in too long? Will this worsen the scarring? The incisions were in my hairline
A month ago I had hairline advancement with a brow life and a chin reduction (outside approach). My bf keeps accidentally rolling over onto my hair - tugging at the section of my scalp that's still very numb and he keeps bumping my chin. Is this doing any damage to either surgery or outcome? Kind of sore for a bit after the pulls/bumps. I also rubbed my eyes a couple times mid-sleep. Does that do any harm to the brow lift?
I am 4 wks post lower FL, upper bleph, and endo brow lift. Yesterday, I was working outside for several hours wearing a big SPF 50 hat. It was hot. After taking off my hat, I had an indentation from the brim. It was still there last night after 5-6 hrs, and I thought it was swelling from the heat, and it would be gone this AM. It is not. It is slightly better, but you can still see an indent. Did I mess something up, or is this just swelling? My entire face seems more swollen today.
My surgeon doesn't want to remove the hematoma. I'm afraid it will cause permanent nerve damage due to nerve compression/pressure. The operation has been done 1 month ago. The hematoma is the size of a sprout. Should i ask for a second opinion or am i worrying too much?
5 wks post brow lift. I initially had a swollen knot on forehead that has improved. Daily I have a constant tight feeling to right side of head with a throbbing sensation. Almost like feeling your heartbeat in the area. If I touch certain areas of forehead and/or incision I get a pins and needles feeling in that same area. I contacted my surgeon because the throbbing is very distracting. Not necessarily painful but....there. He told me to call my PCP and that it sounded like a headache???!!
I had an endo brow and face lift 1 month ago. I still have numbness around my ears and forehead which I understand is normal at this stage. My concern is with the sensations I am experiencing on my scalp as there seems to have been little improvement since the procedure. The scalp is numb, yet the skin has a burning sensation and is very sensitive to the touch. I have consulted my PS who says in 3 months everything should be fine. Are these normal symptoms?
Hello, I am 4 weeks post an endoscopic forehead lift. During the 4 weeks I occasionally feel a sharp burning or tearing sensation near 2 of the incisions. Lately it has been more frequent and especially if I try to make any movements that normally would wrinkle my forehead (ie sneezing). My brows/lids are lower than after surgery but still a bit higher. Could sensations be endotine failure as tissue is pulling away? Is it normal for brows to have already dropped? I'm 32 y.o
