Hi all, is it possible to go from a large J cup to an A or small B? Almost all the surgeons I've researched have it on their website that a reduction will take you down about 1-2 sizes so I'm not sure if that's the max or if there are any other types of breast reduction I could do to achieve this size? Thanks x
I have aetna insurance which has very strict rules of what needs to be removed to be approved. I am currently 5'7 and 185lbs and I I got a consultation and the prior auth was denied due to not removing enough. I needed about 1000 g per breast removed and the dr said that would be my entire breast...it's not adding up to me, according to a bra that fits I am a 38J (US) and that size fits, maybe 1 size down...
I have the state ACCHHS insurance and I want to get a breast reduction. I was diagnosed recently with thoracic spondylosis and slight scoliosis. My back pain has been very extreme. My breasts increased in size during my pregnancy and are now a 34I-36J based on measurements. I a hoping to get down to a D or DD. I don't wear bras most of the time because they dig into my skin, but when I do, I wear tighter sport bras. I have been losing weight but not breast sizes
Hello, I am a 5'3, 135 lb woman with 32I/J cup breasts. I have had a consultation and told the surgeon I would like to be around a B cup. He told me he would need to do a free nipple graft in order to take me that small. My breasts measure 34cm from clavicle to nipple and 19cm from nipple to fold. I'm well aware of the risks associated with a FNG and I REALLY do want to be a small size. Do you think FNG is truly necessary to get me down to a small size? Posting pic of me holding my goal size bra.
Many ladies are asking whether they need a FNG when doing a breast reduction... Im wondering the same thing (my first consultation is soon). Most doctors are replying to the question about FNG because saying its only usually necessary in cases of very large breast reductions. What is considered a very large breast reduction? My hope was originally that be reduced to a DD from a J... but in order to avoid a FNG, I would even take a F cup. I will submit pics at a later time. Thanks!
I have severe back pain. I also go to school and we have a fitness class and it's hard to love and breath with my 34 J breast. I am only 20 and this is so difficult I want them gone!
Hi I am interested in a breast reduction. I've had back and neck pains for years and I have extremely heavy pendular breasts. I am a 42j (band size is 42 bust size 52). My question is, can I reasonably get down to a DDD or a DD through breast reduction?
32J & just had consultation - was informed my options were either anchor or FNG. However, with the anchor I will only be brought down ~1/2 my breast size (1000+ g each), which is still way too large for my preferences (chronic neck pain + headache sufferer). My PS discouraged me from the FNG because I am 23, but I am fine with not breastfeeding any future children (in ~7 years, too). Any thoughts? And are there any healing differences or risks? Will an FNG look normal still coming from a 32J?
