I saw a surgeon wanting implants. He told me I needed a lif and gave me a small implant 265. I wasnt happy with the size and 18 months later returned for a larger implant (495cc). I have been left with misshapen boobs that are square and flat shaped at the top (like a body builder) and an empty boob underneath which Ive come to learn is snoopy boob. Am I entitled to a full refund. I dont feel confident going under the knife with the same surgeon.
I am presently a 32A 10cm diameter 5'4 125 lbs petite. Biggest concern: Snoopy Deformity. I have tight skin and no sagging. A friend got hers done and her nipples are very low. *Was it her surgeon, implant size or natural anatomy that caused this to happen?* 1) The implant is too big and it fills more at the top than the bottom 2) length from nipple to breast fold was just short to begin with 3) The muscle is not loosened enough when inserting through a TA incision Thanks in advance :)
Hi, Im 5 weeks post op with 300cc smooth. I requested the far apart look with side boob with my nipples placed high if possible. Somehow it seems Ive gotten the opposite of what I wanted. They are much too close/high, with an ugly snoopy profile. I know its early days but Ive read many articles online that say that around 6 weeks things should be getting close to final shape. Im wondering will they still change/drop a lot? Or, is this near to what I should expect. Thanks, C.
Im 1.5 months post op. My implants have dropped quite a bit with my left being slightly higher the entire process. I recently noticed a line/dent when I flex that side. Also, would I expect much change in shape still? I think I have snoopy breast? Lower tissue hangs down or whichever way I bend. Its not horrible but not my expected outcome. I had no upper pole volume after breastfeeding. Size 36/6 deflated. Had 371 ccs round silicone. Should I have gone bigger? Lift? Thanks
Are there times when the subglandular is the better method? Ive been to two consultations. One doctor recommended a partial submuscular augmentation, while the other one said the he recommended subglandular to avoid the snoopy effect. Neither one felt I could go completely under the muscle.
My surgeon has said I will not need an uplift as I am borderline and dual plane 400cc implants will suffice but I am worried about developing the snoopy deformity. I am 24 and have breastfed my 3 children and suffer from keloid scaring and want to have minimal scarring as possible. What would you advise?
I had breast fat transfer surgery in the past but did not end up with the shape I wanted. I want more upper pole fullness. I am now looking into getting silicone implants but I'm unsure about the placement. My worry with under muscle placement is the breast tissue drooping off of the implants creating a snoopy deformity. But I'm also worried that over muscle will weigh down my breasts and cause more sagging. Thank you in advance!
I have noticed a a difference between breast. I have taken pictures if them. I also talked to my PS about this and he says not to worry, to give it time. I feel like something is wrong. It's the right one that worries me. The implant has also shifted higher than it was? Please help.
During consultation, PS assured me a lift was certaintly not needed, although I was a borderline candidate. 1 week post op PS assured all was well; next FU is at 6 weeks. I believe this is the waterfall, or snoopy deformity. Should I contact my PS sooner than my 6 week visit about concerns? From the pictures I've provided, will I need a revision or is it possible for this to correct itself? Thank you for any answers.
