I bought a sports bra after my surgery and when I put it on it felt really tight around the implants but people were telling me that it should be tight. However after I slept with it on I got a lot of marks around my body. Should I get a looser fitting bra?
My doctor has been unhelpful outside of telling me 2 weeks minimum wait for any activity and start slow from there. I'm healing well and at the 3 week mark now, all pain/swellling/tightness has stopped since week 1. I'm wondering when I can reintroduce BDSM like nipple clamps?
There are a lot of studies that conclude that lymphatic constriction caused by tight bras can cause cancer. There are also articles that state poorly fitting bras cause the implants to be pushed around in unnatural ways. And loose bras let breasts sag. Finally, there are articles that state tight bras cause scar tissue. My question is this: can you conclusively state that tight bras do not cause or worsen bottoming out, capsular contracture (reduced lymphatic flow), and symmestasia?
I had my implants switched out from large ones to smaller ones. I had my surgery with my original dr who Ive never had issues with. This time, the area under the incision seems inverted or pulling inward causing my breasts to have an odd shape. He told me he can fix it under local but I am concerned and have no understanding why this happened. Could sutures be too tight?
Im 6 months post-op and Im still feeling my left breast a bit tighter and firmer than the other, specially when I lay down and when I woke up. (I have 315cc in my left, and 335cc in my right). Should I be worried about a capsular contraction? Or any advice. I will see my doctor next week hopefully.
I had my procedure a 1.5 years ago, silicone implants. I developed a lump in my L breast, Ive been having dull intermittent discomfort in that breast that goes away after a few sec, pain and tightness when i lay or apply pressure on the breast. It also feels denser than my R breast. I have none of these issues in my R. I got an U/S and the lump was normal tissue, iwent to my surgeon and he stated everything looks normal & lump/discomfort has nothing to do with implant. Any suggestions?
I'm almost 2 years out from BA, and I'm not sure why the skin between my implants looks like it's lifting up. When I wear a bra there's no cleavage at all and I have to push down on the skin to reach my chest bone. The skin between them feels tight. I got memory gel implants above the muscle 325cc. I went to my doctor that performed the surgery at about 1.5 years post-op and he said it's a good result, but I'm wondering if there's a way to fix the skin lifting?
My compression bra is quite tight. Is there a reason? I'm wearing a medium and I had 400cc gel implants under the muscle and the only time the pain seems to minimize is when I'm lying down but elevated. Is there such a thing as too tight? It's squeezing into my incisions I feel.
