I wanted my nose to be more feminine. Now I am having concerns with my jaw, skin discoloration and nose to soften my face. My jaw feels uneven. I know I have an overbite and need my wisdom teeth removed. I also dont think I have enough jaw tissue between my ear and jaw, like it is shortened if that makes any sense. Opinions on my nose? My eyes are quite round and pop out in a way, what can I do to make them not look like they are popping out so much? Also, my skin seems to have really deep shadows in them which give me a harsh look in the face and it seems discolored in some areas.
I'm a 21yo f. A year ago I got braces on the lower teeth for which I had to have 2premolars extracted. I noticed my face got thinner. Now my ortho wants to start treatment on the upper teeth, for which she wants toextract a premolar. Same premolar on the other side was extracted as a kid when it started to come out from roof of my mouth. My face is quite asymmetrical with my nose, eye and mouth all resting on the side w/ the extra tooth she wants to take out. How can this affect my face? Thanks
My braces were removed January 26 I noticed my eyes/face started swelling in October, shortly after my last adjustment. My orthodontist told me my jaw was tired and not to worry my braces would be off soon. The problem has worsened since they've been off. I went back to see him and he told me to consult a TMJ specialist, because my muscles are working to hard. I'm scared because I just paid 6,800 for braces and I'm now having jaw problems I didn't have prior. Why are the muscles working to hard?
2 years ago, people started to notice that my smile is asymmetrical. At first I didn't mind it but since I am a growing teen, it started to bother me and it seemed to worsen as time passed by. I also noticed the same thing with my right eye which is smaller so my hypothesis is that the right side of my face has weaker muscles. I've been wearing braces for 4 years now and I'm wondering if that could also be the reason of my face's asymmetry. Your response will be greatly appreciated!
