I have had Botox multiple times for crows feet, and between the brows. This last time, I noticed mild side effects within 10 minutes such as: dry mouth, flushing/warm skin, and tiredness. I had an overall uneasy feeling which led to a panic attack. I only had 15 units for crow's feet. I did not experience hives. I did not end up in the hospital for any other complication. My question is - could this be the start of an allergy? Is there danger of these effects worsening each time I have Botox?
How are you doctors saying you have never heard of this problem/side effect. I have read a ton of comments from patients having this problem. Its awful I feel hopeless and feel like theres no way out, my chest is going to just explode. I dont know what else to do. My doctor prescribed me buspar for anxiety, it made me much worse I had to stop. Please someone help is there a better way, anything I can do to speed up getting Botox out of my system. It is affecting my life in a horrible way.
Hi! I'm healthy, happy, mid 30s, and never been medicated or had a history of anxiety or any mental issue. I've had Botox 6 or 7 times over the past 6 years, and loved it! Last two times, it affected my mental state. I had severe anxiety and first ever panic attacks within 24 hours (anxiety continued with last treatment). Are the toxins in Botox the cause of the anxiety/panic attacks, or is this a result from the blocked nerve? Could gfx be an alternative, or could that cause this too? Thanks!
