Hello, I'm a 49 yo female and I've been getting botox in my frown lines for 15 years, some in my crows feet, and marionette lines for about 5. I'm finding the marionette lines and crows feet botox is wearing off in about 2 weeks, and the frown lines are wearing off in about a month. II realize I'm getting older, but my skin is still in excellent condition. Why is it not working anymore? sed to last Botox used to last about 4 months depending on the placement.
Ive had a consult with a very well regarded and competent injector. They have suggested masseter botox. I am afraid of developing jowls/marionette lines. I have a downturned mouth and full cheeks. Is there a way to look at my facial structure and determine that risk?
Hi, i had 22.5 units of botox injected in one spot each side of my masseters almost 4 months ago april 20th. Now i have jowls and marionette lines. It's so bad that i have to put face tape behind my ear to hold loose skin back that my masseters formerly held back. Now my temples especially on one side are growing huge. What do i do to get my former face back?
Hello, I have had Botox/filler & threads to help eliminate or soften the marionettes? I have no saggy skin, so very unsure of what else to do. The doctor has a good understanding on this area & 15 years in the industry so Im perplexed. ps its only visible in certain lighting. Thanks
When I talk/speak and to a less extent smile, I get a weird marionette/jowl dimple on one side of my face. What muscle is this? Can Botox fix it? It really bothers me and is annoying. When I see it on video its like nails on a chalkboard to my eyes, pls help.
I'm a female in my early 20s. I have a long/oblong face and a long nose. My chin is really big as well (it's probably proportional to my nose) but when I smile with my teeth or laugh, my chin looks really bad. It droops and looks flat/wide. If I stick my tongue out a little to put my lower lip forward, it looks a lot nicer but I can't do that all the time and I can't laugh or smile naturally without my chin looking bad.
I had 4 units of Botox to my depressor angularus for marionette lines and at same time the doctor was doing facial mesotherapy treatments and 3 days later my smile was crooked and I can barely laugh It only shows when smiling and its been 7 months now and I notice its still crooked when smiling. I have not had anymore mesotherapy or botox injections since but still cant smile normally. Could it be nerve damage from a needle? Botox usually wears off within 4-5 months
