I had Botox for my forehead lines injected about 8 months ago, done by my Dentist, who is trained in administering Botox. Ive had Botox twice before without any issues. This last time, I felt a bit more pain than normal during injection in one site. Days and weeks later I still felt tenderness and swelling in that one injection site, which turned into a tender but firm lump that hasnt gone away. The DDS told me to rub cortisone cream on it, which hasnt helped. Who do I see for this problem?
I had anti wrinkle botox injections 18 months ago. A couple of months after the injections lumps developed in the injected area. The photos show the lumps 18 months later (now). What are they and why has this happened?? The injector said it was my brow ridge and a normal part of my anatomy, but I disagree as they werent there before. Is there anything that can be done about them? A week before the Botox, I had a deep micro needling procedure which caused my skin to burn painfully and gave me an allergic reaction (see photos). Could this have caused fat loss, causing the forehead muscles to protrude?
Botox was injected 3 times over 6 weeks due to not taking effect. I still had full movement however eyebrow keeps lifting. I kept getting hard lumps appear on forhead (where botox was placed) the lumps are egg shape and hard and go down within 24hrs, however it then looks like fluid is sat there b4 it goes back to normal. Head feels sticky to move and heavy at times. Ask practionier why and she was unsure and possibly said she did not go deep enough. Its been 3 months now and still lumps appear
Good day, I had a botox treatment for forehead lines in November. A few days I noticed a bump on my forehead. I then had a follow-up appointment 2 weeks after the initial botox treatment. The Dr. could not advise what caused the bump and administered another unit of botox in an attempt to reduce the bump. Now, 3 months after the treatment the bump remains (see photo). Please advise on what this could be. I am also going to seek help from a dermatologist. Thanks
I have been having botox for over 20 years every 4- 6 months. About a year ago i have noticed prominent bump on the left side of my forehead (im asssuming its my muscles still trying to work). I have waited longer than usual before having botox there in hope that it should help, however after having my injections again (4 month ago) i have noticed more bumps and my forehead never looked more uneven which is very upsettting. Would anyone have any suggestions what could be done here to fix it?
I'm 19 years old and have developed what I believe is called "pebble chin". When I smile my chin has little bumps and lumps on it and it makes my chin look deformed. I thought it was from falling on chin a few years back and getting stiches causing my chin to become bumpy, but it could be from the fact that I have TMJ and 'clench' my jaw often? I'm not sure. Is botox the best solution and what would the cost be approximately? Thanks! A picture wouldn't really help because the flash.
Greetings, I had botox the first time at 25, because I had strong muscles creating the 11-lines. Ive had botox 5-6 times since then, over the past two years, the last time in january. After botox Ive developed some lumps above my brow, particularly on the left side, but starting to show on the right side. What is this and how can it be treated? Last time I went back for a touch up, she injected more into the corrugator, but it hasnt helped. Is this the brow ridge, sinuses or corrugator?
I am a 30 yr old female. I have developed hard noduals at the injection site of botox. I then contracted covid and both noduals turnt in to large absesses. I have had both drained. Now one is still healing and the other lump has re appeared. As reactions are rare no one knows how to treat. I have been offered a steriod injection but do not want indents in my face. And do not want filler to be put in the dents. This has been going on 8 plus weeks now
Did Botox 38 hours ago and I still have these big bumps where the injections were put in, in my forehead. I dont know what to do or if they will go away, I have a lumpy forehead and its a little sore. Heres 4hours after, 12 hours after, 24 hours after and 38 hours after. I can still move my forehead up and down as well, its a little forced but the creases still form.
