What to do? Last August, my derm injected Botox at inner corner of both brows, as usual. This time a lump appeared at each injection site. After 6 months, lumps had hardened. To relax affected muscles, derm injected small amount of hydrocortisone into each, and recommended waiting several weeks. Two months later, lumps diminished, but a depression beyond injection area appeared. Forehead has developed a faint pattern of subcutaneous waves as well. Could these be due to the injections?!
I currently receive trigger point injections, (about 25+ per appointment). They help for several days & then it's time to do it again. I understand that Botox is used for the face & bladder sometimes, lasting about 3 to 4 months. I'm wondering if it could relieve the knots & tension in my lower back muscles so I can function again. Or is that a bad idea in that area?
I had botox injections four days ago and still have a knot & redness at one of the injection sites. After researching the web, it is obvious the nurse hit the periosteum as I heard a crunching sound when she did it. The assistant told me to massage it, but now there appears to be an indetation to the side of the lump. What should I do? Is this permanent?
I had botox injections in my neck on 1/19. When I left a had a large knot at 1 of the injection sites. The doctor said the next day that she hit a vein. I feel terrible, really sore in my next and shoulders, very tired and still a terrible headache. Is this normal? Or what can I do?
