I had massater Botox done theee times due to extremely large muscles. It appears all the skin and tissue has drooped down my face and beside my smile . I have a chipmunk look and a shorter looking chin now : scared Ill be like this permanently
Its been 15 weeks and I still am smiling like a chipmunk. It is really making my depressed I feel like my face looks gaunt and the skin feels stretchier and the smile lines are very deep. I have tried acupuncture and nothings speeding up the break down of the Botox. Is there any tips on anything else I can do as this is causing me to be very depressed and insecure. I wont smile in pictures no more. Thanks x
I had Botox on my crows feet for the first time 12 weeks ago and my cheeks have become very chipmunk and I had what looks like a shelf under eyes when I smile. From looking at pictures when I first had it done it doesnt seem to have relaxed very much at all. I get married in just under 4 weeks and im beside myself that my face hasnt started to go back to normal yet. Is there anything that can be done to raise my cheeks so my smile stops looking so chipmunk like. I feel like a caricature.
I got Botox at the side of eyes, lower eyelids 4 months ago. My zygomatic mussels were hit because my face has completed dropped. My cheeks are drooping, I have chipmunk cheeks, corners of my mouth have dropped (now I have jowls), hollowness under my eyes! It has been exactly 4 months. The lines at eyes are back. Research states it last 3 to 4 months. So I m so worried this drop in my face will last forever. Cant it last longer than this will just one day my face will go back to normal?!
I just had 7 units of Botox injected in the crow's feet area, for the first time. 6 days later, I developed the chipmunk effect in the apple of the cheek upon smiling. More concerning, I have about 1cm drop under my eyes, and upper cheek. The natural volume loss and dark circles I had prior now look worse. A lot of patients online reported the same effects, claiming they became permanent and that Botox caused actual volume loss at the top of cheek and under the eyes. Thoughts/opinions? Thanks.
I had Botox done 3 days ago. Forehead, 11s, and crows feet. All of the injection sites look and feel normal, but my cheeks feel swollen. Can Botox make my cheeks swollen and look like chipmunk cheeks? I followed all post op instructions, including not laying down for 4 hours after appointment. Thank you
I've been injected 3 times with botox and the past 2times I've ended up with chipmunk cheeks with my cheeks plumped upwards and across the side of my face. The past 2times the cheeks have gone down in 4-5 months but I've heard botox is cumulative and the more you have it done, the longer it takes to go away. I am 2months into my 4th round of botox and my cheeks are worse than ever, will they go down like they did the previous 2times?Or am I stuck looking like this for longer or even permanently?
the last two times (different board certified providers) botox caused me trouble smiling and huge upper cheeks when i smile . i look normal at rest. (i wanted a brow lift, but he injected 10 units on each side. I did not get this with my former provider where i used to live. Now it is the second time in a row. You can still see the injection mark in the picture. Was it too low or does it have something to do w my anatomy? I did not do fillers in my cheeks.
I got Botox for the first time on my crows feet and I look terrible! I look like a chipmunk have what looks like a big wrinkle/shelf under my eyes! I get married in 5 weeks and cant look like this! What can I do? Its only been three days. Im afraid its gonna continue to get worse.
