My surgeon has recommended a lower body lift, mons lift and lipo to the lateral thighs. I met with him today to ask about the Fleur-de-lis. He thinks its not needed since the top of my abdomen is smooth - he doesnt like the scar and pucker you end up with at the top. I feel like this is my one shot to get this area of my body as best as it can be. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Im planning a circumferential lower body lift to address skin laxity from massive weight loss, but I have both horizontal and vertical laxity in my abdomen. Can FDL be combined with the body lift to get the best results? I would really like to avoid a revision if the body lift leaves vertical laxity in my skin closer to the rib cage.
I had a gastric sleevel in 2016 and lost 100 lbs. My BMI is 28 and I am looking to tighten my skin post surgery. I have a pear shaped body with large love handles and hips. Some surgeons recommended a FDL and some recommended a 360 bodylift. I am looking for advice on what would be more appropriate in my case based on the photos.
42 y/o with history of yo yo dieting and major weight loss, most weight lost about 80lbs. Current weight about 155lbs. I carry a little fat/tissue above my belly button and Im hoping the vertical incision from a FDL can be avoided if I have a Lower Body Lift? Lastly, the last picture is an example of the buttocks shape I would like to get. Is it possible for my buttocks to be contoured like shown it the last picture?
Looking to get Lower body lift in December but worried about above my belly button not being eand bulging still. Seen 2 surgeons 1 said Fluer de lis other said lower body lift.I booked with Lower body lift but can always add Fluer de lis in if needed I thought LBL might pull it down enough not to need FDL
Hi! Looking to see what the best procedure would be. I have lost about 100 lbs and have a TON of extra skin. My main concern is my stomach and that roll on my bum. I do like my waist and my hips, though. I don't want my ab muscles to be worked on, but that may change. I workout everyday and I power lift 3x a week so I'm not sure work on my muscles will be necessary. I am also looking @ my back and wondering if a Fleur de lis will help smoothen it out? Thanks in advance for your help :)
I have lost 160 lbs with the aid of gastric bypass. I have consulted with three plastic surgeons, and two have recommended a vertical abdominal incision (one w/fleur-de-lis abdomioplasty, one w/belt lipectomy and added vertical cut), while the third thought the added vertical incision would be the wrong choice for my body type (pear shape). I know I have a lot of skin to be removed but I am afraid of the additional scar. Would I still be able to get a good result with just the lower body lift?
