Hi, I had an arm lift revision just on the upper part of my arm 12 days ago. As I was pulling the tape off of the incision to clean it, thick light green fluid started oozing from a small hole in the incision. Is it normal for it to be leaking fluid or is this a sign of infection? Thank you.
When is it okay to resume normal day to day things like sweeping? cleaning? dishes? cooking? I am 2 weeks extended brachioplasty with incisions from elbow to arm pit then zig zagged and extended down sides past bra line. pain in arms and armpit still there and still swollen obviously. Also doing lymphatic drainage massages 2 times a week as advised. Thank you so much
I had an arm lift two weeks ago. I went in to the doctor two days after the procedure. That morning my forearm started to hurt. After they removed my ace bandages my pain increased. I had this pain for 10 hours before it went away. Now the outside and bottom of my arm feel numb. When I set my arm on anything it feels weird and fat. There is also tingling near my wrist. If I stretch my arm or lift it I feel tingles into my forearm. My armpit is really tight. What can I do?
I had an arm lift done about 12 days ago and I feel like I'm going to be like this forever but I am trying to patient and let myself heal. I asked the surgeon before I had my surgery if he thought it was enough time between my surgery and my ski trip (4 weeks) and he indicated I would be fine. I'm curious about other doctors thoughts on this. I'm really concerned about not being able to ski as I planned this trip almost a year ago.
two weeks post op and the arms are still hurting my tummy tuck was a walk in the park compared to this.....the sutures are now pulling as my arms are healing.....I feel aching pain and alot of bruising.....waiting for my compression jacket to arrive as I had an allergic reaction to the latex in the tensor bandages that I was wrapped in hoping it will help still taking T3 nerve tingling too
Hello! I have lost 240 pounds naturally before skin removal surgeries! I was very into fitness and the gym for physical and mental health. I am 2 weeks post op extended brachioplasty. Can i start walking a mile or 2 outside?? AND mot importantly...when is it truly okay to be doing cardio like on the stair master or elliptical? actually SWEATING? and for how long? Obviously I know weight lifting is probably 8 weeks to be safe...but cardio and other exercises to get back routine.
I had a mini arm lift. I know I I am only 16 days post but I seem to be running into issues...pain, extreme tenderness...one arm is full of bumps and dents. My Dr. said it is swelling. So then why do I have this dents and it's not smooth. What do I do now ? Can this be fixed? Is the swelling? Is this normal? I do not want to lose faith in my plastic surgeon, any suggestions?
So I'm 2 and half weeks post op (arm lift) I have noticed a hard lump under the incision ... good old Google says it could be a seroma. My question is will it go on its own or would I need to see my surgeon. Also is it actually a seroma? I'm not due to see her until late 3 months but I am seeing the nurse tomorrow for a wound check.
I had a tummy tuck and an arm lift 12 days ago. 2 nights ago i was changing my arm dressing and noticed that I had an opening in both arms in the armpit area. I asked my doctor he didn't seem too concerned just told me to keep it clean and to use these gauzes that he gave me. But rushed me off the phone. I'm not sure what to do. Should I go to the hospital and get it checked out?v
I had brachioplasty on August 12, 2017 and I am not pleased with my results I expected to have them much smaller and contured a little more. My surgeon keeps telling me that I have to be patient to see more results in that I am still Swollen and it may last up to six months is that true?.. will my arms appear more slim as time goes on or is this the end results?
