Zoom Teeth Whitening Compared to Britesmile or Rockstar. What is the Difference?

There are many different options when it comes to tooth whitening.  Zoom and Britesmile are basically the same thing.  They give a 2 week start to conventional tray whitening and require a lot of maintenance to keep the color.  I use them in my office but the results vary.  They are not effective on darker teeth at all. You can also do only tray whitening but it will take a longer period of time to whiten your teeth.  From my experience the best option is KoR Deep Bleaching.  Best results, little to no sensitivity.... The best method to whiten teeth is to do it slow and over a period of time. Zoom or Brite Smile give you an initial color change that is mostly due to dehydration of the teeth. I would go for the in office custom tray fabrication. There will inevitably be  some relapse of color in the long run. With the trays you can just purchase the solution and use it whereas with the Zoom you have to go back and pay for a new session all over again.

Two competing company's both work well real difference is in the wave length used to activate the whitening solution I don't feel you can go wrong with either good luck

There are quite a few methods (Method)  available in the market and several manufactures offer a product (Product) using such methods.  it is always easier to focus on the Method of whitening instead of the Product to avoid confusion and marketing hype.  I  recommend discussing your particular situation/goals with your dentist to identify which Method may work best for you :

Methods:

A) Over-the-counter (toothpaste, trays, strips, etc)  

B) Professionally made take home whitening trays

C) In-office whitening systems using special light, a laser or other device

D) A combination of B and C above
