Zeltiq Coolsculpting: Cost Should Be Secondary to Results and Skill
While cost should always be a factor in your decision, there are many factors that you should evaluate first.
- Do the doctors and staff evaluate me for being a proper candidate; educate me on this procedure as well as the alternatives?
- Do they have the alternatives available or is this the only procedure they have?
- Is the doctor on site?
- Is it a procedure they believe in? have they had it done themselves?
- Is the doctor Board Certified in a Cosmetic Specialty?
- Can I see pictures of the doctors patients?
Once you are satisfied with these answers and feel comfortable with the doctor and facility then price should enter the picture.
At Accents Cosmetic Surgery and Medical Spa in Sterling Heights, Michigan the procedure is offered for $600 for a small area and $1200 for a large area.We also offer several packages like our special Hot and Cold package where we freeze the fat with CoolSculpt and tighten the Skin with Exilis!
CoolSculpting Prices more affordable than liposuction
Depending on the area treated and the applicator used, the cost of a CoolSculpting procedure may range between $650 (standard applicator, as for love handles, saddlebags, abdomen in petite women) and $1200 (largest applicator available, mostly to treat the abdomen). If the patient treats multiple areas, there is a significant courtesy adjustment in the cost.
Coolsculpting currently has three applicators. The most used applicators are the medium and the large applicator. Each treatment cycle per applicator is one hour. The range of prices for the medium applicator range from $700-900 per treatment. The range of prices for the large applicator which covers 21/2-3 times the area of the medium applicator are $1500-$1800 per treatment. Most offices offer discounts with package treatments since each treatment reduces the fat by 20-25%. The best way to truly assess your cost is to have an evaluation to see if you are a good canidate and for the practitioner to use the applicator template to show you which applicator is best for the area you want to treat.

Pricing for CoolSculpting in Raleigh vs. CoolSculpting Complete
Most practices charge about the same for Coolsculpting. However, the top providers can sometimes offer special rebates. Check the CoolSculpting website to find the top provider in your area. Often offices using multiple systems, occasionally referred to as dual coolsculpting, or the treatment we call CoolSculpting Complete may ofer a reduced rate for the second area. In my Raleigh, NC Coolsculpting Complete practice, we do offer reduced rates for a second area. We also include vibrational therapy to enhance lymphatic drainage and compression garments for additional comfort at no additional charge.
Just like any other procedure, don't select where you receive a treatment exclusively based on the lowest price. We know CoolSculpting Complete works, but patient selection is important (not everyone is an ideal candidate) and the manner in which the applicator is applied is critical.

We offer free consultations at our office with our P.A., who has extensive experience with Coolsculpting and has spoken at international medical meetings regarding Coolsculpting. During your free consultation you will receive a full treatment plan, which will include price.
The cost of Coolsculpting by Zeltig
The cost varies by practice and location and fat bulges being treated. However, it typically ranges from $650 to $1200 depending upon the patient, the applicator device used, and whether or not other areas are treated at the same time.
In Seattle Zeltiq costs $650-800 per treatment cycle
Our practice has a Zeltiq device. It is a non-invasive means of reducing fat using directed tissue cooling. It is an alternative to liposuction and is intended for patients with very focal regions of fat accumulation on the abdomen or 'love handles'.
It is non-invasive and does not require anesthesia.
Depending on the number of regions treated, treatment cycles are priced as low as $500 per cycle. Most patients schedule two cycles at a time.
The costs associated with coolscultping will vary siginificantly based upon the size of the area to be treated, the skill of the practioner, and your location. We charge approximately $750-900 per cycle in our office in Southlake, Texas. I would emphasize that not all coolsculpting results are the same. I believe that it is critical that your coolsculpting is performed under the medical direction of a board certified plastic surgeon who can contribute his/her aesthetic vision to the procedure, and who is experienced to know if coolsculpting, liposuction or tummy tuck is the best procedure for you. Best of luck!
Pricing for Coolsculpting
Pricing for coolsculpting depends on the area. Small applicator is $750 per area per session. So lower abdomen could be 2 small areas or 1 large area. A large applicator is $1500 per area. Double chin treatment is $1000 per treatment. Outer thigh is $1500 per treatment per area. Most clients require anywhere from 1 to 3 sessions depending on how much fat they have. I recommend clients to come in for a complimentary consultation to determine how many areas and treatments will be required.
