I have dead skin around my new ear piercing and I'm not sure what to do?

I recently pierced my earlobes. A few days later a white ring appeared around the jewlery and a day later the white ring surrounding the site looked to be dead skin and detached partially from my other ear skin. my left side just has the white ring but my right side is the partially detached side. I don't know if I need to just let them stay in and if the skin will heal back up or if I need to take them out and get surgery. but I wasn't supposed to get my doubles pierced so please help!!!

I would suggest taking the earings off only for a few minutes while you take peroxide on a q tip and clean the ears taking that dead skin off gently. Good luck.

Open wounds to any part of the body in particular the ear require special attention.Pure saline solution, peroxide or alcohol (if it does not sting that much) are suitable for cleansing wounds with a cotton applicator.If infection is suspected by pink skin surrounding the wound or yellow drainage antibiotic ointment should be used in addition.Please  consult in person with an experienced physician prior to making treatment decisions.
