BBL: injecting under muscle for maximum fat survival?

In my practice with caution i use under the muscle and over, by multiple passes... this technique have give me great results over the time. 

You are correct, fat tends to survive better within muscle because of its rich blood supply. Most BBL surgeries involve some fat injection within the muscle. However, this is also where larger blood vessels are present and fat injected into these vessels can lead to embolism and death. There are several reports of death during these operations because of fat injected into the gluteal vein. Regarding volume injected not everyone measures the fat the same way because if the fat isn't strained and has a larger content of the lidocaine tumescent solution they may count that as well when they claim 2500cc of fat. Realistically this is probably similar volume to someone saying they injected 800cc of fat. You really can't compare straight volume of fat between surgeons because of this. Look at their gallery and reviews for a better idea of possible outcomes. Search for a surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery to minimize potential major complications. Injecting fat under the muscle is dangerous and carries many health risks. This is why no doctor should incur in this practice.

Fat injection to the buttocks is performed by making multiple passes and "seeding the fat" in this multiple tunnels. Some is placed subcutaneous and some is placed intramuscular.

About 30% of the fat transferred tends to reabsorbed after three months, but the rest tends to be permanent. Lack of oxygen and nutrients to the transplanted fat will cause them to die. I usually inject fat under the muscle, in the muscle and over the muscle for various reasons. This has to be done with care in a special technique as the larger vessels are found under the muscle. I routinely transfer between 1200 to 1800 cc to each side.

The optimal way of transferring fat to the buttocks is by injecting at different levels so as to maximize blood supply to the transferred fat. Each patient is different terms of how much fat can be transferred. You should consult with a Board Certified PS with extensive experience performing the BBL procedure. you should also lokk at lots of before and after photos. Good luck!
