Hi there, I'm a 28 y/o. My sleeves surgery is in 5 days, the exact date is May 1st, 2015. My big probleme is following my pre op diet. My dieteciant gave me a very restrictive diet to follow for 2 weeks. I really did what I could do, but I couldn't follow it exactly as she said. I did my best and I had lost 8 pounds so far. My starting weight was 263 with 5"7" and I didn't have any health problems. Thanks for your time. Best wishes, Youma

I think you are going to be fine.  We like to see substantial weight loss in really large patients, your BMI is that critical. I personally do not look into how much you have lost before the procedure.  I look to make sure your tummy is nice and soft (which happens after losing some weight or after a high protein diet).
