Any surgeon performing procedures in a certified office operating room must maintain privileges at a hospital. Thus as long as your surgeon operates in a certified facility you, as a patient, have the option of undergoing your procedure in a hospital setting. The decision regarding where a surgery is to be performed is typically decided jointly by physician and patient. Your physician should be able to describe for you what can and cannot be safely accomplished in an office setting. However, if having a procedure performed in a hospital setting will make you more comfortable, your board certified physician should be able to accommodate you. This will likely affect costs and timing of surgery as hospital coordination is slightly different than an office or surgicenter. As always, discuss your concerns with a board certified plastic surgeon (ABPS).
An outpatient surgery center has a better setting for surgery than a hospital setting. Outpatient center is guaranteed to have all resources to have surgery and staff is paying attention closely to you. However if anyone prefers hospital setting then that is fine as well.

We do our BBL's at a hospital in order to have the absolutely safest and most sterile environment for our patients. We use the Miami Medical Center if you'd like to check their website.
Looks like you pulled out a piece of hair from your buttocks incision; this hair may have been internalized during your incision line closure. I would not worry about it if your incision has healed fine.
I have seen several major complications from procedures done in small Florida clinics as well as from Mexico/Dominican Republic. Some of these have been life threatening infections. Many of these are patients searching for the best "deal", least expensive surgery. Oftentimes...
Hi and thanks for the question and photo. This area appears to be a fluid collection. This can happen after BBL with liquified fat being pushed out to the surface. This could also be a blister or an area of infection (you would look for redness, warmth, pain and possible fever). You should have...
